This colour is perfect for those who want the natural blonde look. Does exactly what it describes in the box. So easy to use and the results are amazing. Highly recommended for all you lovely ladies out there :0)

Good colour
Easy to use and provides a good colour. Actually looks more light in colour in certain lights and quite red. Perfect for covering grey hair , which is the main thing I need my hair dye to do. Great price when on offer ( especially with the subscribe & save discounts ) , less than £3.50 , can't be beaten for Garnier products. The only drawback is the dye bottle is quite strong and it's hard to squeeze it fully , to make sure you've used as much of the dye as possible. Love the decent sized bottle of conditioner provided easily lasts 3 washes.

Nice colour but both boxes were damaged and stuff missing upon delivery
I was skeptical about ordering this hairdye due to the reviews stating that it turned their hair a dark brown. However, after a few months I caved in and bought 2 boxes. I am naturally a brunette and have been dying my hair for over 22 years and recently bleached it to a light ash blonde. My hair is semi damaged but nothing that cannot be fixed. This colour I had wanted to take off early due to what the reviews said, I only ever wanted a dark blonde/very light brown. However, being a busy family with 3 kids meant that i actually left it on for about 45 minutes. The hairdye colour when the hairdye was on looked jet black and I became worried. Upon rinsing it off though, my hair is a lovely dark blonde and is the colour shown on the box,maybe a tad lighter. Maybe I got lucky? I don't quite know. Both of the boxes did a good job.Downsides were though that they were delivered appalingly, we had boxes open,stuff missing and stuff broken.Usually 2 hair dye boxes will be more than enough for my hair, I usually only use 1 box and 1/4 of a second. However with this hairyde I would have needed 3 so I will have to purchase another and have blonde hair ontop for another day or so. The bottles are not your typical box dye size and the amount of liquid you get in them is abysmal. Always buy more than what you need in this case.

Luminous brown 5.0.
Bottles didn't contain much at all. My hair is just below shoulder length but very fine. I needed two bottles and there was nothing left.Good consistency for spreading without dripping everywhere. Smell wasn't overpowering.I did scuff my worktop with my glove slightly. Noticed and wiped it right away but it still stained! The staining on my skin is also crazy despite me taking precautions and wiping away as I went.100% grey coverage and greys are same colour as the rest. But... its so much darker than I expected. Nearly black. I really hope it fades a bit. I'll use this brand again but will go for lighter brown in future.Update: two washes in and it's faded to a mid/ dark brown. Shine hasn't dulled though.

my go to home hair dye
the colour of this dye is close to auburn (red/ brown). Covers grey hairs beautifully and long lasting colour. incredible dye for the price and i have used many of the top brands over the years shwartz, nice n easy, exellance etc and no product ive tried beat this dye on covering grey hairs and price point.

I wouldn't buy again due to colour
I wouldn't recommend this item. My hair was bleached blonde and upon reading what could achieve as in that nice white grey look I went for it.Anyway put on for 35 minutes. It did feel like it was burning a little bit but did calm down and I was also worried as I heard like a sizzling noise at one stage and was tempted to wash it out sooner.Anyway it came out a colour I can't quite distinguish..like a dirty mousey colour, to me it's sort of grey, blonde, white..like the colour of dirty snow with a little bit of mud and pee mushed in all together is only way I can describe it as which doesnt sound nice. There is also no way this can do a full head if yoj have long hair you would need two to 3. .I have short hair and it just about covered it. There is no brush to do it with lucky I had one or mixing plastic tub.I did follow the instructions to a T however the box I received the product in was one just like many other people's on here who have mentioned in the reviews that it arrived crushed and also upon other people's pictures, I can't tell if the contents were all there in my box...mine had a sachet as one item and in pictures can see some had a bottle.Another issue is the instructions are sooooo small I couldn't read it and it's in so many languages and whilst that's ok, I personally struggled to find the one for me so I had to take a picture of each section then read it from the picture I took which is not ideal at all. Why make the text that small that you can't reas..my vision is great so know its not that I simply couldn't see it.Anyway the only positve was that I was happy that my hair didn't fall out but that was it really. The coverage of it works well for very short hair but even with that I would recommend someone helps you cover the back otherwise it would end up patchy.I would not purchase again based on the results and also upon how I received the item.

How to dye your hair at home with Garnier Color Sensation vivids permanent hair dye: Always do a patch test 48 hours in advance of using any home hair dye products. Please always refer to the product for full safety instructions. Top tips for home hair dye: Use an old towel as permanent hair dye may stain it. Apply moisturising cream to your hairline to avoid staining from the permanent hair dye. Hair dye can only lighten your natural hair colour 1 to 2 levels – check the back of pack to see if it is the right hair colour shade for you. If you have long or thick hair, use two hair dye boxes. 1. Start by putting on gloves and mix the colour cream and developer bottle into a non-metallic bowl. 2. Apply the mix in sections, starting with your roots and working through to the ends 3. Leave to develop for 30-35 minutes, as stated on the instructions, depending on the result you wish to achieve. 4. Rinse until the water runs clear and apply the rose oil conditioner and rinse again.
