Great brand

I started with the smallest size pellet of this same food for my young Discus. Once they got to spawning size they weren't interested in "tiny" food. This size is perfect for them as mature fish. They get an assortment of dry foods that I mix together, so they get a variety at each feeding. Hikari products & Tetra are the only foods I use for my fish, especially the Discus who live with a big school of Rasboras and several Cory cats. This got 4 stars only because the Discus gobble their sinking food first, then go after these which are still floating.

They love it

My lemon yellow Cichlids love these pellets more than any others I have tried. I accidentally ordered large pellets last time and they're too big for their mouths and I have to crush them. My fish are in a 125 gallon tank with a lot of cover and the fish hide when they hear doors or someone walking near the tank. These pellets float and the fish overcome their inhibitions and become predators. They seem to have fun stalking and striking them. I love them too since my fish do. The little fish don't get very many so I feed flake food too, but I highly recommend these for Cichlids.

My fish love this food. They are healthy, colorful and growing. I would highly recommend it.

For a 2oz bag of fish food, this is a complete rip-off. I will never order again as the large bag is same price at local store.

Floating cichlid food that satisfies even a huge adult blood parrot's appetite. Though a seemingly small pouch, it lasts for a long time, making it good value for money. The pellets are quite small, which suits the fish's fondness for hunting around for them and less getting wasted from chewing. A bonus that they are really easy to fish out of the tank if uneaten, keeping the tank as clean as possible. Great stuff.
