Such a great product with super easy installation!
I have an aftermarket head unit that is capable of both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in my wife’s car. I tried to always encourage to plug her phone in to have hands free access to maps, music, and calls, but she didn’t always want the hassle of finding her phone in her purse and plugging it in before she got started on her drive.I have wireless Android Auto / Apple CarPlay in my vehicle and absolutely love it. So I wanted the same for her without having to buy yet another head unit. This Tunai unit is so simple and effective to give her that safety of hands free without the hassle of finding the phone and cord when she’s in a rush. The setup could not have been easier, with easy to follow instructions and a quick connection to the USB port in the car which I installed in her center console. The Tunai unit sits at the bottom of the console, doesn’t generate any heat, and connects very quickly on startup which makes the Android Auto automatically launch on startup every time.Obviously, I had the setup with the aftermarket unit, but even slightly older vehicles that have Android Auto / Apple CarPlay from their manufacturer, but before wireless versions became the standard, this device should work perfectly. The price is amazing for this capability and simplicity, so if you are looking for this solution, I can’t recommend this device enough!

Nice looking, compact, maybe useful with some provisos
So this is a nice idea -- instead of wiring your phone to connect to Android Auto, you can just wire this little bluetooth transmitter. The transmitter itself is quite compact, being only about 2 inches by 2 inches, so it pretty easily fit into my Subaru Outback's tray right by the USB port. Which is good, because the supplied USB cable is also pretty short (so if you were thinking to put this transmitter somewhere else in the car, you might need to get a longer cable). It took a little jiggering to get it to work; a couple of plugging and unplugging before I got the phone to recognize the device (the first time it came up as the MAC code, and then later was able to come up as "Autoplay3E78" or something like that).I tried calling from the phone and that worked fine. I tried directions, and doing any kind of search for restaurants/gas stations/etc. was FAR slower than if my phone had been plugged into the jack itself. Once the directions were in the system, it seemed to work fairly well, however. I tried starting up youtube music, and that didn't work at all -- the songs I usually have queued up, while they came up on the screen, never actually played. My phone's definitely higher than Oreo (the recommended minimum Android version), so while I imagine it's possible a high-end device might not experience the problems (my phone's an LG Velvet, so it's 2-3 years old), approach with a bit of caution and the awareness that some things might take a while and some things may not really work at all. Whether that's a big deal to you depends on what you want.

This is the one!!
Very pleased with this little guy. Super lightweight and easy to use. Works right out of the box and no hassle setup.Opened up the box and the cable and box are right there and ready to plug right into your vehicle. I inserted the usb-C cable and plugged into my car and it recognized it right away. There was no issue getting my phone to connect with it as I enabled bluetooth it was able to pair with no problem.I love the ability to just plug and play with this. I turn on my phone bluetooth and it will connect right away and I can enjoy the features of Android Auto without having to tinker with my vehicle apps or plug directly in with my mobile device. One thing to note is that if you have multiple devices running bluetooth like ear buds and this, it does tend to be fairly aggressive in taking control and a lot of times I have to disable it so my ear buds can have a turn. It was not a huge deal, but sometimes tries to take over even after I connected to ear buds for a call that I don't need the entire car listening to and the call gets switched over anyway. I unplug it from the vehicle if I do not want it to take over, because sometimes it does even after I disconnect on the phone. This is probably a software thing on the phone or device that I need to adjust, but I haven't had the time, so unplugging always works.

Works well
This unit was easy to install, once connected to Bluetooth, the rest was pretty much automatic. Once connected, things seem to work just as they did with a hard-wired connection. The unit takes a little longer to connect but the difference is usually only a few seconds. I'm very happy with the functioning and it seems solid once it is going.I do have a problem where the device doesn't sometime automatically connect quickly (or, sometimes at all) unless it is encouraged by manually going to the phone's Bluetooth settings and connecting. I've traced this to times when my phone is still connected to my home Wi-Fi even though I'm in my car in the driveway. By turning Wi-Fi on and off or telling Bluetooth to connect, things straighten out but it can take half a minute or so. This problem occasionally happens in other situations but I think those relate to similar scenarios.I did test the firmware update process which is easy and fast. My unit was already up to date which is nice. Except for the connection glitch, I'm very happy with the unit's operation. It is also very small and neatly fits into the little pen tray next to my car's USB sockets.
