Quality When It Counts
We camp a lot in rural places as well as unfamiliar cities and counties. When possible we do not want to hook up the water purification filter because it purifies all incoming water, whether for dishes or drinking, and that gets expensive. HealthSnap’s water test strips are easy to read and use, and we count on their spot-on accuracy. We keep a box in the camper and always refer them to our camping friends and acquaintances. Thank you, HealthSnap!

No difference between tap and puddle water
I should have listened to the other reviewers who said this. We tested our tap water, spring water, and puddle water from outside and all the readings cane up exactly the same, even for alkalinity and PH, which is impossible. We are trying to determine whether or not there is lead in our tap water. This test has a reading for zero (good) and the next level up is 20 (deadly). The colors for these are nearly identical. No one in our home or neighborhood could distinguish between the two colors, not even my mother who is a pilot with perfect color vision. Even if you could distinguish between the two colors, the data is useless. Lead is dangerous at 7ppb, and 10ppb, and at 17ppb. This test will only tell you if you are at 0 or 20, so you could be at 19 (deadly) and still get a 0 reading. This test is ridiculous. Do not waste your money or time.

Not helpful.
We were testing for copper. The differences in color on the legend are very small and don't correspond well with what shows on the stick. Plus there are very big ranges, so really pretty hard to read unless negative. We were consistently getting readings that seemed to be of concern, so we did a professional test by a laboratory and there was no concern whatsoever, so this product did not help us for copper. It does have numerous other tests and they seemed less equivocal in terms of results, so it may be better for those items.

... I tested different waters and the results come out pretty close.
So far I tested different waters and the results come out pretty close... so I cannot tell if this is accurate or not.

Quick, Easy and Effective
These strips do exactly what they say they do. You open the package, follow the instructions and in 30 seconds you have the results. The provided charts are easy to compare with the strip readings. I used it on my house tap water because it tasted different than my well water at my previous house. Looks like the city water as a high level of cholorine, which accounts for the wierd taste.

Many of the pads appear to give incorrect results
Many of the pads appear to give incorrect results when compared to other strips, other liquid testing kits, and municipal reporting on water quality.

Great Value!
This is a great value for those interested in monitoring the condition of a water source. Strips are easy to use and results are easily read. The production seems consistent as there is virtually no variation between multiple samples.

They don’t work.
The strips appeared to change initially while testing. My house has well water so I was curious what types of chemicals might be in the water. I tested the water straight from the well before it entered the pressure tank, then after it goes through a sediment filter, then again after it goes through a carbon filter and water that is sitting in a copper pipe.... all test strips showed the exact same results. So I then grabbed a bottle of spring water and tested it. Exact same results. So I took the strips to a water source known to have iron, the water is even orange and the strips said no iron. I have no faith in these strips whatsoever after the final test.I also purchased a much more expensive water test kit to compare the results and that kit provided a vastly different result.
