SOUNDGATE XR4 XR4 High-Performance Interface

Used to take 50 watt per coil factory speaker level sub signal and convert to line level signal in my Escalade ESV with premium Bose system to cleanly and easily add an aftermarket amplifier and sub to the existing system. I love this converter... But because finding a amp turn on source in this particular vehicle is such a pain, since amp turn on is controlled via the data bus, would probably use a converter with signal sense and a remote output lead if I we're doing it again. For any vehicle with a conventional amp turn on (power antennae) signal at the head unit, this is an excellent, high quality, and flexible line level converter, as well as having 4 channels available, and signal matching pots.

This little box allowed me to add an aftermarket radio into a Bose factory stereo system. Best Buy told me it could not be done without replacing the speakers and amp as well. I guess they wanted to sell more or were simply ignorant. Very easy to set up, but a little difficult to fit into place in the crowded back space behind the head unit. Awesome results - well worth the effort.

I love this product!!!Literally sounds perfect, no noise/interference. Would buy over and over again.
