Amazing at the right price
This keyboard was an insane value at $30. I got it over a year ago, and it still feels amazing to type on. I know the keyboard enthusiasts really care about the thock or whatever the sound they prefer is, but that's not my thing so I can't judge the sound. All the keys still feel good and the keycaps are still pristine. I've used it wired and in bluetooth mode without any issues.

Even better in person!
The Epomaker EP84 Plus is a pretty straightforward keyboard, so I won't waste your time by citing the product description. I do want to bring attention to something that is easy to miss in that description, which is the steel top plate. It adds weight to this plastic board that feels unforced, and while heft isn't necessarily indicative of quality, I believe it brings a level of refinement to the typing experience. The steel top plate also allows your switches of choice to really have a voice. I found the Wisteria switches that it came with to be higher pitched and pleasantly clacky. They were a little too sensitive for me, in that I would unintentionally strike keys, so I swapped them out in favor of Epomaker's Shadow Black switches. The board is easy to mod so I also did a tape mod, and I would describe the new sound as a marbly pop. In a setting where noise isn't an issue, the sound and feel are very satisfying. This board is usually on sale for 30-50% off, and I highly recommend at least trying it out for yourself.

check with the software program.
UNACCEPTABLE programmable website, after downloading the program on epomaker website, it did not find my device, even though I have connected and used it for a while. I am unable to access the program. The rest of the keyboard, it worth every penny paid.

Great budget keyboard!
This keyboard is really cute and compact, perfect for small workspaces. My favorite part is the fact that it comes with all Fn keys, and home and end keys. As a developer these keys are absolutely essential and a lot of compact layouts have at least one of them missing. The flamingo switches sound lovely: a slight clacky creamy sound. In the attached video I use MOA profile keycaps which produce a slightly deeper, trickier sound than with the original cherry profile keycaps. Overall very happy with the product for the really low price!

This is a great keyboard
I am new to mechanical keyboards and thought I would start with an inexpensive version. This one not only has pleasing keycap colors but also offers great key pressure and sound.

Very nice for the price
This keyboard punches well above its weight. It feels good to type on, and the weight keeps it planted on my desk. The only complaints I have is as I'm gaming I sometimes push a key while in wasd position and there are no adjustable support legs. But typing is where this keyboard shines. Make no mistake, I feel like I got a good deal and would recommend to anyone.

Poor quality keyboard at best
I purchased 3 of these keyboards and all three have the same issues so these are product defects. The 2.4 band connectivity is quite poor and often fails. Also, almost anything between the keyboard and the dongle stops the connectivity. Often keys fail to show after striking and it takes 2 to 5 key hits to finally make it work. Also the battery life is very poor and fails with virtually no notice. When connected with a usb cable the keyboard works fairly well but I still experience times when keystrokes are missed. I had to replace one keyboard as it came with broken keys. I do not recommend this keyboard. Update. Now one of the keyboards is failing to charge. So looks like the batteries aren't any good either. I'm looking for a new keyboard to replace all three that I have. very disappointed in this purchase. Will never buy from this company again.

Has every key you need, great layout compared to other 75% unless you want a volume knob, also supports remapping, I ended up swapping insert for pause, and changing the key layout to match the original EP84. The software is actually not bad either, come a long way from the original EP84. Used the original EP84 for a long time till I had some issues with it although I did seem to resolve them. But this is such a huge upgrade over the original, comes with some nice stock keycaps although not my color so I swapped them out. Seems to be some foam as I noticed some by the spacebar when swapping the switches and keys, all in all this is a very well made keyboard, feels super solid and well made. The supplied cable is a really good length as well, much longer and nicer than the original. Ended up with the flamingo switches which are honestly quite good, coming from my Akko Silvers I lubed myself, these felt very similar just a bit heavier. I did end up swapping them out for leobog graywoods but honestly the stock switches are really good and don't need to be swapped unless you want something else. All in all an extremely good keyboard in stock form, huge upgrade from the original EP84, and easily customizable.

Tick sound is a little when using. Keyboard is compact to take along. Colors are attractive especially for young girls.

The keyboard is very nice. Swappable switches is a great bonus for this price. I had some issues with connecting to the software but epomaker support team solved my problem. Overall I’m quite satisfied with the keyboard. Price-quality top!

Battery can have malfunctions on that line. It happened to me after 1+ year of daily use

I noticed this board changes price so the value might not be there by the time you are reading this review. I paid ~$95 for this board with flamingo switches. I use it with my Mac and the Mac mode the keyboard has works perfectly and the keys are assigned as expected. The keycap quality is amazing and I love the Flaming switches (this is personal preference but remember the board is hot swappable.) My only complaint might be that it didn't come with keycap replacements for the command and option Mac keys so I'm stuck using the windows win and alt keys until I get some keycaps separately. I would of rather had those keycaps than the extra 3 Flamingo switches.
