Fabulous.
I really don't understand the animosity towards this album expressed by many fans. For me it's one of the better ones, dark and moody where you need it to be. Robert Smith's voice is excellent throughout and the musicianship tight. Love it. Watching Me Fall and 39 are standouts, easily surpassing any Disintegration tracks. Don't believe the naysayers, this, for me, is classic Cure.

The flowers bloom red on this double LP
Beautiful picture disc double vinyl of the Bloodflowers album. Cure fans already know what the album sounds like. This 2LP looks and sounds great with no hiss, crackle, or distortion. If you (like me) rated Bloodflowers 4 out of 5, the listening experience on vinyl bumps it up a star to 5 stars. This is a limited edition RSD (Record Store Day) release. I hope we see vinyl re-releases of Wish, Paris, Show, Concert, as well as original 12" reissues. The market is there and waiting.

One for the fans.
I really wanted to love and be intrigued by this. Smith and co. move through songs and atmospheres attempting to recapture past glories. Whilst there are some lovely tracks on this I came away with the impression that I was already familiar with atmospheres and motifs. TBH I would probably buy The Cure toilet roll (in black, of course) as they have a special place in my heart. Definitely worth a listen, but I will still be reaching for Faith, Disintegration and Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me.

a classic cure album
The opening track "Out of this World" is a beautiful song with powerful lyrics: "But real lives are the reason why we want to live another life, we want to feel another time.." Every song on this album takes the listener through a very emotional journey. Epic conclusion to The Cure's trilogy.
