This is an honest review from an Amazon vine member I love this dog belt lead!!! I will not use anything else now as although I don’t go running anymore it’s great just for dog walking and it’s so comfortable to wear and my dog enjoys the different lengths we can use on his walks so when I need him to be on a short lead and then when I can pop him back on the long lead with ease! There are plenty of storage pockets and it holds everything you need for a dog walk and the lead is extremely good at taking all the power and strain off you and away from your dog so it makes it so much easier to take control of him and it doesn’t hurt him either when he pulls too much it’s a win win situation for both of us!!!!! It is extremely well made and quality materials are used too and it feels that it is going to last a long time too and for the price it’s well worth it!!! I would highly recommend this dog lead belt!!! I have tried other leads in the past but they are ok where near as good as this brand and I will only use this brand now - it has been a while since I last bought a lead but I am buying the newest version now so I will update my review once I have had chance to test the newest version of lead as I am unsure on the changes that have been made but will keep an open mind til I test it - watch this space!

My belt stays in place and can manage regular use (three runs workouts a week around 10k with my dog). I have purchased the belt with pockets this Dec to use with my English Springer Spaniel. It works well on our runs of between 2miles and 9miles and I’m sure it will do the job for longer routes. I have everything I need for a run with me. The belt sits well around my waist and I can put my mobile Phone, torch (for night runs) and water in each of the compartments. I’m really pleased to see such a well made belt and leash for this price with canI-cross style bungee cord and a dog poop bag dispenser. The lead has several handles to help the runner manage theIr dog and keep them under control. Great for traffic lights or passing other users on a path. The leash is a good length that my dog can run comfortably and can also pull me. The connection to the leash from the belt is innovative and taken from Cani-cross race belts. On a future addition it would be nice to see the harness style adjustable leg loops and the harness move to supporting the hips rather than back/waist. I used my run belt on a group Cani-cross run afternoon at the lakes - a local country park. I love my belt and it’s a great entry belt for anyone wanting to run. It’s a perfect addition to a dog & hiker walking gear kit!

After a thorough search this seemed the best option, taking into consideration the back support I also needed. I had been clipping a normal lead onto a stretchy running belt but was starting to suffer back pain regularly. I runs the trails with my dog on a weekly basis, often covering 10+ miles. I needed a lead that would support my aching back and have a bungee cord to take some of the strain. This lead fulfils this criteria and is a well made, sturdy product but it had a lot of downsides meaning I had to make lots of adjustments. Two bungee cords was way too much. If the dog stopped pulling momentarily I was tripping over the excess lead. If I clipped the lead up to shorten it the lead irritatingly and eventually painfully, bashed against my legs. Not fun when I tried the road for a change and had miles to go. The belt also constantly slipped around my waist because the only place to clip the lead is in the sides so the dog just pulls it round as she pulls forwards, leaving me with no back support. It needs a D ring at the front instead. The tags where the lead is supposed to clip onto, on the sides are very long and again, just bash irritatingly against you as you run. Any water bottle put in the belt just caused the belt to loosen. Again - really annoying because then it just slipped round even more. When I didn’t need the dog on the lead there was nowhere to tie up the lead. It was far too long to go around my waist, I tried slinging it around my shoulder but it slipped down. It was a nightmare! Despite all the negatives I liked the belt part enough to get my scissors and sewing machine out and to alter it so it would suit me. I halved the lead and reattached the clip. I now clip it straight into the front of the belt, as you can see in the photo. When running I clip the other end onto the belt as well, in lieu of a better idea. I have put a safety pin by the belt adjuster to stop it loosening and chopped off both the lead clips. This makes it a much better product for me personally. I think mine would be a good prototype for the company to consider!

I absolutely love this product. I suffer from a herniated disk, nerve compression and arthritis in my back, so I was a bit dubious about buying it, but I can honestly say, its perfect. It fits so comfortably and doesn't hurt my back in the slightest. It also means that I am still able to walk with my crutches. My dogs have anti pull harnesses, which really help, and also, they help me to get up hills that I would struggle with normally. The pockets included are also fab. This has been an absolute lifeline and I would not ever go back to using a hand held lead. If you suffer with terrible back issues, like I do, do not feel worried about buying this. It fits really well, is adjustable and is so comfortable you can hardly tell you are wearing it. Perfect for the money, and I am so happy.

Great value for money. Good length. Good quality. Love the pockets. Good buy. Much easier walking with the dog and being hands free. Can also be used in the car as a seat belt for the dog. I like the slight stretch on part of the lead.

This isn't sturdy enough to walk a dog on. Very practical for woman that don't have pockets. A big pocket for your phone one for poo bags and teats a loop for your keys and a pocket for a water bottle. Good to clip your leash on to hold it but not study enough to run with or to walk with. Buckles don't go tight enough. The loops to attach your dog onto spin, can move around and pop the buckles off. I like the car seat attachment on the leach nice add.

So if you have a intelligent and boisterous puppy ? Well this is the belt for you… treat it like your a cowboy/cowgirl in a western. Quick draw to the treat pouch so your puppy instantly gets the que he has done something right. Room for your debit card, keys, poo bag, you’re ready for any day you are out. Brilliant to be hands free and train your pup to be by your side… he is 7mths and 30kg is far it’s taken his pulling … I’m hoping to get going with cycling and long boarding together… I’ve used the mesh parts for hooking a plastic water bowl as I couldn’t see anything else that would work. The only part that would be super cool to have on this belt is another compartment for a 500ml water bottle.

Comfortable to use, much better than our previous one which was just the normal lead that went around your waist and felt like it was cutting you in half if the dog pulled. Still looking good and solid after couple of months use with a 22kg hound pulling hard.
