I was hoping that it would seal the windscreen, but it didn’t help. This product didn’t adhere well to the surface, and so let the water past the seal. I ended up having to take it off and use liquid silicone sealant instead.

Not water Proof !!

A1 worked good, easy to do, peel and stick, take your time and it will come out good. Had enough to do two cars, front and back.

Für mein älteres Auto (Volvo aus 1999) gibt es vom Hersteller keine Dichtungen für die Windschutzscheibe mehr. Ich bin super glücklich, dass dieses Problem mit dieser Dichtung gelöst werden konnte. Ich musste jedoch ein wenig "nachhelfen". Da ich die Problematiken mit den üblichen Verklebungen kenne, habe ich die Klebebänder gleich "abgerubbelt". Also erst den Schaum mit dem Daumennagel weggerubbelt und dann den Rest mit Waschbenzin entfernt, so dass nur noch der Gummi selbst übrig bleibt. Verklebt habe ich den Gummi dann auf der Blechseite mit Polymer-Kleber (transparent,flexibel) (in meinem Fall UHU-Polymax, andere Hersteller sind aber genauso gut) der hält super auf Gummi und Blech/Lack, greift aber die Oberfläche nicht an. Auf der Glasseite werde ich wohl schwarzen Silikon verwenden. Die teils schon weggerostete Einfassung der Glasscheibe habe ich zuvor mit Rostumwandler lackiert.

Cumple su cometido es sencilla de poner y bastante blandiendo, el pegamento no parece que sea demasiado eficaz, también lo pegué un día que no hacia mucha temperatura ambiente.La eficacia ya la veremos con el tiempo ya que tenía un acceso de agua por la parte baja del parabrisas. Gracias
