Excellent value
I just got Sun's Tea 41oz glass teapot as a replacement for my previous glass teapot, the GROSCHE MONACO All Glass Hand Blown Teapot with Infuser 1250 ml 42 fl. oz Capacity . The major problem with the Grosche pot was the spout, which dripped and dribbled every time I poured. While the two teapots are quite similar looking, the Sun's Tea teapot, I'm happy to report, has a much better spout design, with an opening that is slightly off vertical, whereas the Grosche teapot's spout opening is horizontal. This seems to make the difference between a dripping and non-dripping spout. In addition to the differences between the spouts, the handle on the Sun's Tea pot is also much bigger and studier, and feels much better in the hand than the smaller Grosche handle. I feel there's less danger of my hand slipping on this handle, which happened a number of times with the Grosche, which resulted a few times in spilled tea, though thankfully I did not drop the entire pot.The biggest difference between the two pots is the price. I paid $35 for the Grosche and only $18 for the Sun's Tea, so it's definitely much better value.Although I love the Sun's Tea pot, the reason I give it only four stars is because of the glass infuser, which is almost identical to the infuser on the Grosche pot. These infusers get clogged very easily if you use loose leaf tea and they're very hard to clean properly because the little slits are so small. I use the infuser for fresh ginger, which works fine, but if you're planning to use loose leaf tea, I would just put it in the main chamber of the pot and use a tea strain when pouring.

Tea Time FUN!
I'm a recent coffee-a-holic. I am enjoying the world of loose leaf tea. This teapot adds to the experience to the whole process of steeping the perfect pot of tea. First off, I was happy to find an only glass teapot (no plastics) and at a nice price; buy it with the warmer and even a better deal. I don't need the fancy, schmancy, expensive iron teapot. The glass doesn't absorb flavors corrupting a future batch, allows me to see the beautiful color of the tea enhanced by the flickering candle underneath, and alerts me when I need to steep more so I don't have to wait too long in between sips. I have this teapot and another, smaller one from another company. This particular pot has a larger capacity allowing me to serve friends. This teapot also has a better handle to grip and pour. My daughter prefers it over the other pot for this reason. Phew, no dropsies. The Sun Tea warmer works perfectly with the Sun Tea teapot. I had issues with the tealight going out in the warmer from the other company. The other company couldn't fix the issue and gave me a refund on the warmer. No problems with the Sun Tea teapot. It works great! Functional, as well as beautiful.I read in some other reviews about people having issues with it breaking or dripping. Well, it is glass, so I'm extra cautious and haven't "lost" it yet. Like I said, it has a great handle. As for dripping...like with a bottle of wine I do a quick lil "twist" action after pouring. No drippies here. It's all in the technique; not the fault of the product. The only snag is a factor with both glass teapots...the glass infusers tend to plug during the steeping time, not allowing for a thorough steeping of the leaves. I have fixed that with a different stainless steel, multi-holed infuser cup. Works like a charm.Tea is ready, illuminated by the flickering light...gotta go. It's tea time!

The best kettle I've used yet...
I have tried electric kettles. Not good. Even the ones that are stainless steel have a lot areas that are still plastic (e.g., inside of lid, the screen filter inside the spout). There are even soft rubber gaskets on the screws where the handle is fastened on the insde of the kettle right next to the heating element in the Hamilton Beach and certain Cuisinart models. I just returned the KRUPS BW600 electric kettle because there were pitted areas where rust started forming. This prompted me to start searching for a glass kettle. Many of these also include rubber and plastic or metal somewhere which defeats the whole purpose for why I was resorting to a glass kettle. This is the one.It is 41 oz capacity as stated in the subject. The spout must have been redesigned since all the bad reviews about dripping. There is a pocket formed to hold that last drop just at the opening. No plastic. No rubber. No metal. ...ANYWHERE!! This does mean that the lid won't fit completely snug without the infuser. Who cares. Better than having a rubber gasket that can leach chemicals into the water as it boils. The kettle is pretty thin. Don't expect pyrex thick glass. However, the benefit here is that water comes to temperature much quicker. It brings water to a boil almost as quick if not as quick as an electric kettle.I just can't believe that kettles (electric or stove top) which its sole purpose is to boil water would be made with any plastic and/or rubber at all. This kettle ensures no chemicals will leech into the water as it boils.
