There's no way to know whether this actually works or not until a few years down the road, when you check to see whether your tank has sprung a leak or not.In any case, the rods appear to be made of the correct type of metal, and the do screw into the tank to replace the old one. They include some teflon pipe tape and a wrench (use a screwdriver to turn the wrench) to remove and install the rods.It doesn't leak, and I expect it will do its job.Who is this for?- People who own an RV with a hot water tankPros:- Easy to install- Includes wrench and teflon tapeCons:- Won't know if they actually work for a few years

The RV Heater Anode Rod is a perfect replacement for the one that came with my RV. I replace the anode rod every 5 years or so, so this two-pack should have me covered for quite a long time.They came with a wrench, and a small roll of Teflon tape. The wrench was a nice idea, but unfortunately the burner assembly in my RV hot water tank doesn’t provide suitable clearance for the provided wrench. So I had to use a classic basin wrench instead.If you’re shopping for an anode rod, you probably do your own winterizing, and are very experienced with removal of the anode/drain each season.
