Could not be happier with the Delonghi Rivelia over the past month. I did so much research on true Bean to Cup machines, having owned the Sage Barista and then the Sage Bambino with a separate grinder for 5 years and just simply deciding that we love excellent coffee but the espresso process (and the mess) is not for us. Thankfully, this slimline machine doesn't take up any more space than our previous set up. We loved the look of the traditional Italian style set ups like the Sage but I'm so pleased we got over ourselves and went for the one-touch Rivelia. It is truly great value for money especially if you get a return/reconditioned one directly from Delonghi. We use the same beans as always but our coffee is so much better with the Rivelia; much more akin to the taste you would get from a great café. We haven't used the 2nd hopper yet but I can see how it would be a useful feature if you like to mix up your beans. We were worried the integrated milk frother would be a pain to keep clean but the machine rinses it itself and we find it easy enough to switch between oat and cow's milk and then pop the parts in the dishwasher every evening. I've even occasionally branched out from an espresso because the milk drinks are really quite good. I love using it to make "babycinos" for my kids in the morning too. I think the temperature is perfect as it never ever tastes burnt but if you like boiling hot coffee/milk it might not be for you. As many people have noted it does use quite a lot of water heating itself up and rinsing but to be honest it's not that much of an issue for us - we just leave a small jug under the spout and empty that when full. Hands down the best part of this machine is how easy it is to use and the reminders to descale, change water filters, add more water etc which can often go forgotten. Gone too are the days when we felt like we were running a coffee bar as no guest felt like they could make themselves a coffee. Honestly after years of battling with machines to get the grind size, water temperature, tamping right and still ending up with mediocre coffees, this has genuinely revolutionised our lives. No regrets.

The De’Longhi Rivelia is my second coffee machine from De’Longhi, the first lasted 10 years before I felt the need for a change. From all the models this one seemed to meet all my needs. Setup took 10 minutes and the fact that you get two coffee bean hoppers to put your beers in included means if your better half doesn’t like your strength or brand they can quickly change the been hopper and use their own. The colour screen is clear and the machine provides a tutorial for first use if you’re not too sure how to proceed. Just follow the on screen instructions. All the types of coffee or hot milk can be adjusted in strength, temperature and milk amount to suit your own preferences It also has profiles that can be setup so I can have a set of my own coffee preferences, I like a bigger mug for example. My wife’s profile has different beans and different amounts of coffee and milk that she likes in her smaller cup. The coffee quality and strength adjustment blows my old one out of the water. The highest temperature for example is a LOT hotter than previous models for both milk frothing and coffee. I’ve never had a tepid coffee from this machine. It’s also a lot more compact than my previous model and takes up much less room. The material it’s made from doesn’t look like cheap plastic either, overall it looks well made and a lot more expensive than it actually was. I also bought an additional milk frother as it’s handy to have one clean while the other is being washed. All the removable parts are dishwasher safe. I paid a bit extra and bought the white LatteCrema Cool upgrade Set. I was surprised when I fitted it and it unlocked an additional six cold drinks in the main menu that can apparently only be made with this type of frother. So now I have a choice of 24 separate drinks to choose from. The machine will also remind you to deep clean the milk frother, fill the water tank if there isn’t enough for your drink not just when it’s empty and empty the ground container. Overall well worth the money paid for it and I would recommend buying the cold milk frother especially if you have kids that like cold milk.

The coffee it produces tastes great, and there’s a wide range of drink options to choose from. The different settings are especially useful in a household where multiple people drink coffee, as everyone can tailor their drinks to their own preferences. The Bean Adapt feature makes a noticeable difference to the flavour, helping get the best out of different beans. I also really like the multiple hoppers, it’s perfect for switching between beans, especially as I only have one caffeinated drink a day. Overall, it’s a versatile and convenient machine that consistently delivers great coffee.

As far as features go then this is a decent machine. Really good that it can be personalised for 4 people. The coffee is pretty good, milk frother is pretty simple to use. However - we had to return twice with same fault, where it says to empty grounds container and drip tray, even though they are empty already. This happened after only a month. Amazon replaced straight away, great service. However, a year later it happens again. This time Amazon took it in for repair, couldn’t fix it and gave a full refund. Needless to say we won’t buy a delonghi again. Going for a Jura this time.

Absolutely one of the best coffee machines I have used. The build quality is superb and feels truly premium. The grinder produces a very fine and consistent grind, resulting in rich, full-bodied espresso with excellent crema. Cappuccino quality is outstanding with perfectly creamy, café-style foam. It is extremely easy to use, and the machine guides you clearly at every step, from setup to cleaning. A flawless experience and worth every rupee.

Très bien et facile à utiliser

Hay aparatos que hacen café. Y luego está la De’Longhi Rivelia, que sabe que hace café. Se planta en tu cocina con más actitud que un barista con tatuajes y bigote en un local de especialidad. Y no te dice buenos días: te dice “buongiorno, amore mio”. Desde que la enciendes, la Rivelia se comporta como si te conociera de toda la vida. Su pantalla táctil a color te saluda como si estuvieras entrando a una cafetería boutique en Milán. Y la interfaz no te lanza mil opciones técnicas: te pregunta cómo te sientes hoy, y según eso, te sugiere un espresso cargado, un latte suave o un capuchino que te abraza por dentro. Lo primero que sorprende es su sistema de granos dual: puedes tener dos tipos de café listos para moler con solo deslizar un botón. ¿Arabica suave para la mañana y Robusta demoníaco para el lunes? Listo. ¿Descafeinado y “No-me-hables-hasta-el-tercer-sorbo”? También. Cambiar de grano es tan fácil como cambiar de humor. Y hablemos del espumador de leche. No es solo un vaporizador; es como un mini maestro de cappuccino que se sacó un curso de arte latte por correspondencia. La espuma que produce es tan densa que podrías usarla como almohada, pero sería un crimen no bebértela. La Rivelia además limpia sola. Literalmente. Cada vez que se enciende o se apaga, hace su mini ritual de enjuague como quien se arregla el moño antes de salir. Y cuando llega la hora de descalcificar, lo pide con una elegancia que da hasta gusto obedecer. ¿Es cara? Sí, un poco. Pero piensa en esto: ¿cuánto pagarías por un café perfecto, hecho a tu gusto, todos los días, sin salir en pijama? Y sin que el barista te juzgue por pedir leche de avena. En resumen: la De’Longhi Rivelia no solo hace café. Te cuida, te entiende y te despierta mejor que tu pareja. Y si un día te declara su amor, no te sorprendas. Tú también lo vas a sentir.

La verdad que funciona a la perfección, la configuración inicial fue super sencilla pero super buena, te trae hasta una tira para ver la dureza del agua de casa para poder configurar la cafetera. Luego la pantalla es super intuitiva y fácil y accesible a cualquiera. Por otro lado, las bebidas salen todas perfectas y con un sabor increíble, es verdad, que la calidad del café influye mucho pero sale el café perfecto. La única pega que tiene, que para mi no lo es pero lo habia leido en comentarios y me ocurre de vez en cuando y es que el sensor de la bandeja de los posos falla alguna vez y te dice que esta lleno pero no lo está, simplemente es sacar un pelin volverlo a poner y a funcionar. Por último, una de las cosas por la que dudaba era porque tuviera el molinillo mas al exterior por el ruido porque yo tomo café a las 6am pero para nada es muy ruidoso, me recomendaron De'Longhi porque hacia menos ruido y estaban en lo cierto.
