Good Stuff
This works well. It helps the fire start fast. It takes time for it to burn up completely. Lite weight and very easy to store. A little goes a long way.

Excellent product!
I have been teaching wilderness survival for over 10 years and am rarely impressed with a new product, especially the multitude of fire starters , which a new one seems to come out monthly. This product is impressive! While slightly harder to process than the standard PJ cotton balls ( which work extremely well), this product produces higher heat and longer burn time. It’s worth the slightly longer processing time.If you are on a budget than stick with PJ cotton balls, however, if you want to go to the next level, purchase this product and you will be impressed. And by all means, please do not put your thumb on the back of your knife blade when doing power cuts, a fist (some call a hammer) grip, will give you significantly more power!

Easy to use
Honestly I came across this product on YouTube when looking at other fire starters and was impressed with how easy the person was able to light it. When I finally got it I wanted to see for myself how easy it was to light. I used one of those survival bracelets that are made of 550 cord, have a compass, and have a striker and flint in the buckle. I am by far not an expert in using this material. All you have to do is cut a small piece off about a half inch wide or smaller if you choose, then rip it open a little so that there are fibers showing. All it takes is a small spark from a bracelet that I used, you could probably get away with using a spark from an old lighter that doesn’t have any fluid left. I haven’t tried that but I believe that would work. It doesn’t really matter if you leave the cardboard casing on or not. I prefer it cause it keeps it a little more centralized and burn a little bit better. Or it will help out a bit if it catches and has a weak flame, the cardboard will help ignite it a bit better. Depending on how big or small of a piece you cut it has an impressive burn time. I have started a handful of fires in my fire pit with this product. For all of the prep guys out there I would recommend this product, its tubular design would make it easy to store in your pack. It’s also really sturdy and solid so you don’t have to worry about crushing it. Unfortunately at the time of this review, it is no longer available. I hope that changes because I would like to get more.

Perfect Addition
Perfect addition to any survival/camping/hiking kit. I tried one out in very wet conditions and was able to get a fire going with ease. Essential item for every emergency kit

Good fire starter
Bought these for camping and they worked rather well and had good burn time. Although they are a little tough to cut thru so be careful but over all. . . I would buy them again.

Good fire starter
Great product. It’s a little though to cut but it works really good to get a fire going.

Very effective, easy to light, good longevity.
Fantastic stuff. This compact package will light plenty of fires, it only takes a bit to do so. It cuts relatively easy and clean, the fine fibers fluff easily, and it lights with just a small spark. Aside from the material (cotton?) burning towards the end, the only odor is that of a bit of wax. Of the more "natural" types of fire starters, the Fast Fire Stick is my favorite of all including plugs, disks, whatever. You likely won't regret purchasing this product for camping, survival, etc.
