Works fine on my 1Gbps network
I plan to upgrade to 10Gbps eventually, but not yet. I didn't want to buy more 5e cables, so I went with this one and it works fine for 1Gbps, as expected.

Excellent value
After some failed episodes with the quote unquote flat cat 8 cables and doing more research I decided it was best to just keep things simple. Cable matters always make high quality and affordable Ethernet cables. When comparing speeds of current networking equipment and computers to the throughput of these cables there really is no reason to get anything above cat6 unless you're really going to distance it then you have test 6A. I struggled with keeping the cat8 flat cables organized, so it's great to go back to Ethernet cables that just work. The best part is how many length and color and multipack quantity and multi color options CM has. Highly recommend.

Decent performance and shielding but not good for splicing
CableMatters usually has good stuff and the cable seems mostly good with the shielding on a relatively inexpensively priced cable.However, this cord does not have any striped internal wires. Instead, it only has four solid colored wires and four solid white wires. So if you're replacing the end connectors with a new RJ45 end, you have to figure out how to place half the wires based on proximity to its colored complement wire.

Worked perfectly!
Our router is upstairs and the main TV is downstairs in the living room. The WiFi was NOT doing well as far as video signal imagry or stability, so we wanted a hardwire connection. We installed a wall plate with a double female RJ45 connector in the router room and one behind the TV. We then ran this 100' cable between those two jacks behind the walls and through the ceiling.The end result is a perfect and stable TV image regardless of the weather! The cable was long enough with plenty of spare slack so installation was easier than it could have been!

En remplacement d'un câble non-blindé UTP, à vrai dire, pas vraiment de perception quant à un changement de débit, très léger mieux si on teste la ligne mais n'impacte pas dans la vie réelle, du moins, dans mon usage et mes lieux. Cela dit, qui peut le plus, peut le moins !
