Was pretty gutted when I smashed my screen. Was about to part with the money for Apple to do it until I read up on these replacement screens. Phones warranty was nearly up anyway so I thought why not give it a shot, I'm by no means an electronics expert, but I have tinkered in the past. Was pretty straight forward while watching the vid guides (I had two up and where I wasn't quite sure about something I referred to the other, which worked out pretty well). Took about an hour but someone more proficient could do it in half that time, and I was in no rush. As long as you're careful with the ribbons, and as long as you keep everything you take off and in place with it's accompanying screws it's a doddle. The screws are small and fiddly but again I'm sure there's no rush, the priority is to get your phone working again. If a bit gets too fiddly after a while just walk away from it and drink some tea : ) The only thing probably worth mentioning would be that when you snap it back into place make sure the little 'hooks' at the top of the screen curl around hinges on the chassis. Mine didn't (my fault) the first time around and when ever I snapped the full fascia back into place the top protruded a tiny bit. After a bit wrangling about nothing changed and I was just about to live with the fault and chalk it down to because of a defect in the third party manufacturing process when I noticed I had flatted the small hooks on the screen the first time around..after prising these open slightly with a razor blade (which came in handy throughout the process btw) it fitted snugly and was good as new. Fired the phone up and all was fine. Extremely pleased : ) I know the screen won't hold up to the same force as an original and as such I'll be buying a protector. But for now I'm over the moon. Product as described and cheap as chips compared to what even a high street repair shop would charge. Don't let all the negative ratings put you off. As long as you're not a complete imbecile you'll do just fine. I'd peg most of those bad reviews down to user error.

Product delivered very quick. Not great delivery method though as they just posted it through the letter box with no attempt made to knock on the door. As a result it may have damaged the screen slightly. When I tap the top left corner, the screen goes a bit funny. Other then that, the product itself is good, was a challenge to install but is good quality. Even provided screen protectors with it.

Review update 13/2/17: By far the worst customer care I have received, they are now stating unless I change my initial product review they will not honour a refund. Outrageous!! I would recommend spending a little more, guaranteeing both quality product and service throughout the transaction. Product arrive on time and packaged as promised. However, the instructions supplied with the screen are unintelligible and after lots of messing around I finally managed to replace the original screen with the new one supplied. The picture is fantastic and the phone is back in working order, except for the bottom section of the screen. The lower 20% of the screen has no touch screen capabilities what so ever.. I am awaiting an explanation as to how an untested produced left the factory?

The screen arrived promptly, I have used the seller before for a similar product. But I found this particular screen to be slightly over priced (although not the suppliers in particular) I did have an issue with the screen.. the front facing camera and proximity sensor locates into small plastic mouldings that were missing off the new screen I had to trim flashing from the new screen frame and glue the mouldings from the old screen into place, (this from a product that was the best part of £50) ... Also the Philips screw driver was deformed so didn't fit screws, luckily I had one that did fit...

EXCELENT PRODUCT! The only reason the screen would be 'ghost touching' is if the actual phone/framework is bent out of shape. Easy way to test this before purchasing this item is to place your phone onto a FLAT surface and slide a small, thin peice of paper underneath it on all angles, corners and sides. If the paper slides under the phone at any point then your phone is unfortunately bent.

For the price, you get what you are paying for. Tools - The supplied tools for the installation of this were of unsatisfactory quality/standard. The pry tools are very weak and they bent and crumbled during the process. The strongest thing was the guitar pick provided, but it is too thick: a thinner pick at 0.75mm would have been much better. Packaging - The packaging used is just a very small padded envelope that is stuffed and hard to open. Screen - The screen itself when installed and working is great. Just keep in mind that if brought into an apple store / retailer for an additional repair, they can tell quite easily that you are using an after market part without having to open the device. Instruction guide - The instruction guide included is an A5 sheet of paper in a foreign language with a link to a youtube video on it. I found the video hard to follow as it had no instructions on screen or listed. The video was simply a person replacing their screen; not showing key parts of the procedure. I would buy this again if I had to.

No complaints, perfect solution to a severely smashed screen at a great price. Fairly easy to fit (follow the various YouTube videos as a guide). It's been in use for around a month now and cannot fault it - in side by side comparison with a 5S with original screen it's just as responsive and the brightness / colours seem the same.

The product is very good, and it works very well, sensitivity level is easily parallel to that of an apple original screen. Couple of issue, there were three black pixels once i turned on the product but for the price its fine to be honest. The instructions were not great so I you should look on you tube for a good tutorial.

Ensemble écran + outils nécessaires à la réparation impeccables. Livrés dans un emballage bien protégé. Livraison un peu longue (+ de 3 semaines) mais au final le produit est de bonne facture pour une réparation effectuée en 45 minutes.

Display schnell erhalten und machte auch einen top Eindruck. Dann allerdings nach einer Woche war ein Haariss im Display. Daraufhin habe ich den Verkäufer kontaktiert mit der Frage/ Bitte das Display umzutauschen. Habe auch direkt eine schnelle Antwort bekommen, dass es gar kein Problem sei und mir wurde sofort ein neues Display zugeschickt. Ich persönlich fand das sehr kulant und würde den Vekäufer immer wieder weiter empfehlen! Top Service und gutes Produkt ! Weiter so

Zunächst mal zur Lieferung: Einwandfrei, keine Probleme, alles heile und unversehrt Werkzeug: Die mitgelieferten Werkzeuge sind natürlich auch aufgrund des Preises, von niederer Qualität. Der Torx-Schraubendreher passt nur halb in die Schrauben und mit dem Kreuzschlitz hätte ich (hätte ich nicht vernünftiges Werkzeug von "Wera" gehabt) mindestens 2-3 Schrauben rund und kaputt gedreht. Das Plektron, der blaue Plastikspatel und der Saugnapf hingegen waren sehr hilfreich beim aus- und zusammenbauen. Es fehlt jedoch eine Pinzette, um mit den kleinen Schrauben im Iphone klar zu kommen. Trotzdem bin ich nach 2 Stunden Arbeit sehr unzufrieden, DENN: Der Ausbau des gesplitterten Displays und das Umstecken des Home-Buttons, Lautsprecher, Kamera etc. ging bis auf eine festsitzende Schraube einwandfrei. Der Einbau des Produktes funktionierte abgesehen vom letzten Schritt (dem Hereindrücken des Displays) ebenfalls gut. Aufgrund einer geringen Überlänge des Displays ging dieses jedoch nur mit Mühe in die dafür vorgesehene Aussparung. Da leider das Touch-Display nicht einwandfrei funktionierte und entweder verzögert und gar nicht reagierte (es sei dabei dahingestellt ob aufgrund einer Fehlfunktion des Displays oder Kabelproblemen), wollte ich die Verbindungskabel innerhalb nochmals kontrollieren. Problematisch nun: Wie bekomme ich das mit Mühe hereingedrückte Display wieder heraus? Zunächst löste das Display sich unten gar nicht von dem Rahmen, sondern nur links seitlich. Dabei löste sich jedoch die "Scheibe" von der darunter liegenden Schicht leicht. Auch die Alu/ Metall Besfestigung am Display löste sich leider auf dieser Seite. Trotzdem habe ich es geschafft das Display wieder vom Rahmen zu trennen. Soweit so gut habe ich die Kabel innerhalb nochmal kontrolliert, schließe das Display wieder an und nun das böse Erwachen: Die linke Hälfte des Displays (bei der sich das Display von der darunter liegenden Platte gelöst hatte) war grau/ schwarz und es waren mehrere Artefakte im Display zu sehen. Wenn ihr dieses Produkt trotzdem kaufen wollt hier ein kleiner Tipp: Bevor ihr das Display hereindrückt, kontrolliert vorher ob alle Funktionen und vor allem die Touch-Funktion einwandfrei funktionieren und auch über einen Zeitraum von mehreren Minuten.
