The DIY Floaty Pen craft kit was a big hit with 7 and 8 year old granddaughters. They assembled them immediately, with very minimal assistance from adults. The finished product was cute, glimmery and the girls were excited to take to school to show their friends. Definitely an affordable, useful and fun winner of a craft kit!

This is a cute crafting project. My 9yr old really liked it. 3 pens come in the box, they all write the same color, different charms and accessories enough to make all three with some left over, she did it without reading the directions, simple enough for younger children. I happened to get it on sale so I would say it's worth the money, would make a cute and fun little birthday gift, but u would need to add another gift with this if your trying to keep them busy for a longer period of time, my daughter had all of them done in bout 20 mins.

Cute birthday idea

My 10 year old daughter and I did this together. To be fair, we didn't watch the QR code for directions, we just read the very vague ones it came with. At first it was frustrating as we over-filled the pens and then the glitter didn't move around much once filled with liquid, so we dumped everything out and tried again. Some of the fillers were too thick to move well as well so we took some smaller glitter supplies from another craft to use and that worked better. They turned out pretty in the end but also made a GIANT MESS. Would recommend doing this outside if possible.

This was a great gift for an 8 year old girl! Simple process and a great final product unlike some craft kits. Only downside is that most of the little pieces wouldn’t fit through the funnel. It’s an easy remedy to make your own funnel.
