Great for a quick test
Good for a quick check of the aquarium. Prefer the liquid kits for accuracy, but these are great if you just want to check it quickly.

Easy. Inexpensive. Seems to do what it claims.
Wanted something to help me get a handle on water quality. Had a bunch of new fish and some old fish die off after an infusion of biomass, new fish. Wondered if it might be water quality, maybe overloaded the biological filtration. Using this, I figured out Nitrates were high, so planted some Pothos in the water, hanging out of the back of the tank. Been monitoring the Nitrates, and this kit tells me they're predictably decreasing. So the test kit does what I was hoping. I cannot verify its function beyond this, other than to say it gives consistent readings.

Useless - no color change, doesn't match API liquid test results
The pads don't change color at all. I thought they would be convenient but the results are ridiculously far from my API master test.

Test results seem inconsistent
Tried several times to get consistent test results, not sure if these strips expire or if the issue is user related but I ended up buying a more expensive option to understand the water condition
