Used this to polish a cast iron pan. Worked well and was durable to compete the job without needing to change the pad. Removed all rust and roughness with ease.

I was able to pretty much polish aluminum using these. With the 600 grit pad it does leave some residue if you push too hard and get it too hot the glue that holds it together melts. I was able to get the residue off by going down a grit level. The lowest grit never left a residue

These are actually a great deal even though they seem to wear rather quickly. I used them to clean some very heavy rust off of some tools and old cast iron skillets and was pleased with the results and the finish. I will be ordering more for future use because they are cheap enough that the rapid wear does not bother me.

These abrasive disks turned out to be the best for prepping antique exterior windows sills (my 1892 home has more than 30!) for refinishing. These sills had lots of water damage, just painted over again and again with low quality paints by previous owners. These disks were easy to use with a grinder and left a very repairable surface.

I purchased a set of these pads and had a tiny issue with them. The company was super fast to assist and stated the pads work best at lower RPM's and adding a polishing or finishing compound will prove ultra beneficial. Honestly, I didn't expect such terrific communications but they totally came through. So, don't use these on high RPM grinders, use a variable speed grinder and consider adding a buffing or finishing compound. For my application, I used a smal amount of WD-40 and the parts looked great. I'm very pleased with these pads and the price is great. So, if you can work witin their designed parameters, I believe you'll also be quite satisfied. I'm going to order another set ASAP. Thanks!

These are ideal for polishing and cleaning up soft materials like brass, copper and aluminum. I machined an arbor for these pads so I can run them at slower speeds on my buffing equipment.

Cheap, might use to sand wood.. but metal nope. As soon as it gets hot the binding adhesive melts and smears on the metal.

320 grit very good 600 grit makes black stains that are very hard to remove
