I want to do light blonde highlights, will this lift to this colour, also what vol bleach do i need?.

Yes you can do light blonde with this just make sure you put enough and use the 12%40vol, dont need to be dense. Good luck 🤞

Can I apply directly to the hair and then apply the hair dye?

No you have to mix the developer in a bowl with the dye. You must use wella colour with the wella developer. 50/50 ratio. I would recommend combining two colours to make up the 50% dye then mix in the developer. Ideally use scales to weigh the mixture as you have to be accurate in the mixing. Use a tiny balloon whisk to ensure all is mixed perfectly.
