This is great quality and beautiful as shown. Value for the money and built to last. Ease of cleaning no seasoning required. Definitely very attractive and fun to work with .. I would definitely buy more products.

The biggest negative with this product is also what makes it great - the shape of the lid. Because of it shape, it is a bit difficult to find a place for in storage (especially in our tight kitchen space); however, it also makes it a very nice centerpiece for any guest gatherings and also performs very well in terms of heat retention and allowing the food to cook evenly in the space.My wife and I usually use this for Korean-style hot pots, which traditionally have less liquid than what you might see in soups. The shape of the lid does a great job of retaining the overall heat so that the food will cook evenly, even those that aren't fully dunked in the water initially. We have seen it to do a much better job compared to the traditional pots, so we tend to break this out for guest gatherings (cast iron isn't the friendliest for clean up, so we stick to our dishwasher-safe pots for everyday cooking).The quality of the cast iron looks solid as well, and through a few uses, we haven't noticed any deterioration. Hand washing it is easy enough to do, but it obviously requires more care and attention compared to the dishwasher-safe ones that you can just throw in.Overall, we would recommend this product!

I bought the Alva Nori Moroccan Tagine and it's pretty good. The size is just right, not too big and not too small. It fits well in my oven and on the barbecue too. The enameled cast iron makes it heavy, but that’s ok cause it helps cook evenly.The cone shaped lid looks cool and does a great job keeping the steam inside. The handles are helpful to carry it around. It says it’s scratch resistant and so far, I haven’t seen any scratches on it. The food cooked in this tagine tastes amazing, especially Moroccan dishes.Only thing I didn't like was the price. It's a bit expensive. Also, it’s heavy so you have to be careful when handling it. Overall, it’s a great product if you love cooking and trying new recipes.

Alva is a company out of Belgium that has been making cookware for over 70 years. Nori is their cast iron line and this tangine pot is fabulous. The cast iron is definite quality and the enamel finish is exceptional even when compared to the most popular cast iron brand. In fact, with that popular brand the tangine only has a cast iron bottom, the top is some kind of ceramic. This Alva tangine has both a cast iron bottom and cast iron top. The shape of the lid is what makes this a tangine.So far I have used this on the stovetop, oven, and pellet grill. The food cooks evenly with all 3 methods. Most recipes I found for the tangine are cooked on the stovetop. Most recipes are for slow cooked stews and vegetable dishes. The shape of the lid traps the steam and somehow drops it down on to the food kind of blending the flavors and keeps things moist. This can be used also like you would use a Dutch oven, or just use the cast iron pan alone.Clean up was way easier than I expected, as I have had to soak other enamel cast iron pans for hours or overnight. This cleaned up easily with soap and a dish brush. When I cooked the chicken on my recteq pellet grill I left the pan soak for maybe 10 minutes and it all came out clean.This looks fabulous on the table and keeps food hot for a long time.The only downside is storing the lid as it does take up space.Overall I am very happy with this cast iron pan and pleased that it comes with a 25 year warranty.
