OMG.... Yes that good. Fantastic for Jaz, Blues and probably anything in-between. Well made.
For reference I got the golden set. Don't let the price fool you. Yes these sound that good. 63.99 at the time of writing and found these fantastic for studio, Jazz and Blues use. My kids bang on them for rock and that is fine too. We usually use a complete set of Zildjians ZBTs (I know, I know, not much of an upgrade, but please understand we play at home), and though they sound great, they are not for small spaces. These are obviously for quiet use, but can easily be used for small venues, recording, and home. In fact even though these are for quiet use, that doesn't mean they are totally quiet. I don't know about using them in a classic NYC apartment, where you can hear the neighbor's alarm clock or electric toothbrush through the walls (yes I lived there, long live Chelsea!). If your planning on a big venue then just mic them, in a pinch. Comes with a really nice thick bag that comes with a removable split liner to protect each cymbal. Comes with a complete set of cymbal felts, and just with those two (bag and felt) it is worth the asking price. In fact you throw in the cymbals and now that is a smokin' deal. The cymbals includes 14" Hi-hats (both top and bottom), 16" crash, 18' crash, 20" ride. Each cymbal is smooth edge to edge, meaning the center holes and the outer diameter. Each small hole is good with no blemishes, or protruding flanges or sharp edges from visual inspection. All of the cymbals are free from manufacturing defects. Set includes: - Bag with removable liner. - 12 piece felt set. - 14" Hi-hats (both top and bottom) - 16" crash - 18' crash - 20" ride Only thing missing in this set is a bell, a 10", and a trash cymbal, but that would bring the price point up, and being that the latter 3 are smaller, it would be much louder. I don't even think a quiet bell, or trash cymbal really exist. Comes well packed in a thick cardboard shipping box. Nothing damaged and all the cymbals are nicely finished and labeled. Each cymbal comes in it's own clear plastic bag, and then inserted into the carrying bag.

Totally Blown Away by the quality and Great Sound
I really love these cymbals. Given the price, I wasn't expecting much. I have been playing drums professionally on and off for 30 years. I'm used to using standard high-end expensive cymbals. I needed something lower volume to protect my hearing. I was literally Blown Away by the sound of this set. I think they sound better than the comparable low volume cymbals put out by Zildjian and Sabian and these are a fraction of the price. I did take some foam and put it between the top hi-hat cymbal to take away some of the after tone tinny sound. Let me tell you, I ended up using these on lower volume professional gigs as well as in several of my YouTube videos. People have asked me what cymbals I am using they like to sound so much. It came with a decent quality carrying bag and extra Felts as a bonus. I would actually like to buy a second set to use with my electronic drums. I could probably put some Triggers on them as well. If you need a low volume symbol set or simply a decent set of sounding cymbals at a phenomenal price. Don't even think about it just buy these!

Actually surprised at the sound for the price
Sound great ! Especially for the price. Used for a wedding with overhead mics. Sound engineer and band were happy with them. They are on the bright side , good tone, great ride bell and all bells on other cymbals sound good. I tried Arborea set but , they were too dark sounding with no cymbal bell sound. This set is just a little louder and more responsive and sat in the mix well. I would recommend the eastrock set. Also if you have a Yamaha ead-10 this set works out great . Just bump up the bass eq 1

Great Sound Live & Mixed
Impressive..... Bought to play in a very small church space with low ceilings after the main build caught on fire. Nice clean sound, doesn't sound like tin, and with high energy songs the level sat perfect. Full intensity but low volume. These are slightly heavier than other budget brands and i think that adds to the sound quality. The carry bag and dividers are a great plus. Well worth the price.

Mom approved
I bought these for my sons’ drum set. They are able to practice and doesn’t drive too crazy. Definitely quieter than others and have held up nicely to my 9 & 12 year old beginner drummers. My brother in law who is a drummer was shocked with the sound quality and noise level. Definitely worth it

A pleasant surprise!
I got these not expecting anything more than inexpensive, crappy, dead sounding practice cymbals. But they actually sound crisp and bright! My ONLY complaint is that the edges are not properly finished, as the cymbals are stamped steel and the edges were quite sharp, and will destroy your sticks and likely cut your hands if you grab-choke a cymbal. But, for under $70 for the set, I was fine taking 1/2 hr to fix that issue myself with a file and a sanding block. I will be ordering another set to gain a few more cymbals that I need.

Very Happy! Great sound and lower volume for smaller spaces! Perfect!
I think these things are amazing for the money. I have a drum kit that I play with my feet in smaller venues so I’ve got one extra crash symbol out of the kit, but they make a beautiful sound. They’re just loud enough so not overpowering so I don’t have to try and dim down the noise and I really love them and they look really cool too. I got the silver ones which match my kit Very very happy. There seems to be lots of brands. I’m sure they’re all pretty good but this one works for me. And the sound is great not as symboly? as standard but more of a cleaner crisp sound I really like it!!!

Not bad at all.
Initially, I thought they sounded too tinny. After playing them in an amplified setting with other musicians I am seeing that they're actually pretty decent. I will be using them for a live show this weekend.

Significant sound resection with no loss of feel
Bought these for my son’s drum kit. Have significantly reduced the volume when he practices. Appear well made and robust.

Nice tone to each cymbal
Never had low volume before. Took a chance. Sound great. Each one has a different tone which complements the others nicely. I ended up putting a piece of perforated hole drawer liner to get the added sustain sound I wanted. See pic. would I buy again. Just did for grandkids kit
