Great for my tools in the kitchen but does not come with the lock it pictures

I bought this item to store my art tools like paint tube and brushes. This product would have worked for me if I didn't need more space. I really like the feel of this item it opens smoothly and is sturdy. The paint job looks like it will last a long time. I will return this item because is a little too small for my needs.

I have tools and parts and bits everywhereOnly a few months into using this and I am happy to report it has helped me stay organized and tools have not been lost a lot more than before. I still lose them - but the ones I put away properly in this great box - this has been super nice and helpful.

I needed a little toolbox for my jewelry making. This box is the perfect size. The way it is divided up is perfect. It is a little clumsy to open but it is getting smoother.

This Manufore tool box is quite heavy, sturdily built, and has lots of accessible space for a large number of tools. It's all steel including the handles, so there's no need to worry about weight capacity. It's solidly riveted, the hinge plates look nicely welded, and the bright red paint job is carefully applied. The main compartment is about 3 1/2" deep, the trays just 1 1/2" deep. My driver will fit in the main compartment, but my drill won't, as with most toolboxes. At 16 1/2", it's long enough for any of my hand tools apart from the hacksaw.I really like the cantilever construction of this box. When opened, all 5 compartments are fully accessible: the overlap is only about 1/2" from level to level, so space is optimized, everything in every compartment including the main compartment easy to see and reach (photo). It's also a remarkably stable design: when fully open, heavy tools in the uppermost compartment won't make it tip (photo) even with the rest of the box empty. This box would be perfect not just for tools, but for any craft where a large number and variety of tools and materials are needed, making everything easy to see, easy to access, and securely stored away -- arrow fletching, fly tying, carpet making, any number of crafts.One caution: this box is far from waterproof, with visible openings below the covers when fully closed and latched, so it's not something that could be tossed into the back of a pickup truck and left there. That said, it helps organize tools and make them easy to transport, and I'll hope it's as durable as my grandfather's cantilever toolbox from the 1930s.

I like the design of this toolbox. It has smaller compartments in a well organized way. When it is fully open, all compartments spread out and can be easily accessed. This is better than those toolboxes with no partition where all tools are in one big box. When that box is full, you will have a hard time finding a specific tool if it is buried under other tools. This box, on the other hand, presents sorted tools in front of you. No digging is needed. The metal toolbox is tough and strong. A combination lock is included to hold the opening when transporting. I think this is an excellent toolbox.

Needed a new toolbox for my tools and this one is very durable and perfect fits everything I need! Very well constructed for the price. American quality! This is the perfect size to keep your most commonly used tools in your office or garage.

This is my review of MANUFORE Metal Toolbox 16.5 x 8.5 x 8. I find this toolbox to have plenty of storage and is easy to carry. It is currently being used for garden tools and has been great for this use. The compartments are spacious, and the box opens and closes easily. The box is made from durable steel with a good-looking paint job. The handles are easy to grip, but being made of metal be careful if set in the sun for long period of time as they will be hot. This box has met my expectations; therefore, I am rating this product 4 stars.

Die Werkzeugkiste ist seit mehreren Monaten in Benutzung.Besonders geräumige, qualitativ hochwertige Werkzeugkiste aus robustem Metall mit Möglichkeit zum Verschließen.Die Kiste ist aus stabilem Metall gefertigt und lässt sich ohne Probleme öffnen. Die einzelnen Fächer sind im geöffneten Zustand nicht instabil (wackeln/ flattern) bzw. kippt die Kiste nicht. Die Lackierung ist an allen Stellen der Kiste vollständig und von guter Qualität.Es lassen sich die gängisten Werkzeuge problemlos unterbringen: Zimmermanns-+ normaler Hammer, Gabelschlüsselset, diverse Schraubendreher, mehrere Sätze Imbusschlüsselsets, verschiedene (doppelseitige) Bitsets, diverse Zangen u.a. Rohrzange sowie Metermaß und es ist schlussendlich noch genügend Stauraum vorhanden.Innerhalb der Fächer wäre eine Unterteilung sinnvoll, jedoch kann hier eine kleine Kunststoff Box Abhilfe schaffen und stellt ansich keinen Qualitätsmangel dar.Das Gewicht der Werkzeugkiste ist aufgrund des Materials höher.Farbvarianten wären wünschenwert sind aber kein Muss.Fazit: Durchaus eine langfristige, funktionelle Investition zu einem günstigen Preis.

Very well made tool box. Ours should have fitted our garage shelf but when it arrived it was too long, (not sure if I measured up incorrectly, twice) but I'm sure the length was shown as 16 and a half inches. Not too much of a problem, as we have placed it at an angle. It has internal trays, which is perfect for separating various tools. Appears to be very well made and should provide years of use. Pricey, but to have the trays in the box is so useful and saves a lot of time when searching for the right tool.

Also für den Preis von 29€ (und ein paar Zerquetschten die sich auf 29 abrunden oder ignorieren lassen), ist das echt eine großartige Werkzeugkiste.Ihr Metall ist stabil, die Halterungen für die Fächer wirken auch haltbar und es hat sehr viel Werkzeug darin Platz. Bis auf meine Klebe-Artikel wie Heißkleber und Klebebänder habe ich alles in diese Kiste bekommen.Die Gelenke sind noch etwas steif, aber ich denke, dass sie sich im Laufe der Zeit noch lockern werden.Im Deckel ist eine Zunge mit Loch für ein Vorhängeschloss angebracht. Sie fügt sich beim Schließen in einen Schlitz auf dem gegenüberliegenden Deckel ein. Die Kiste schließt aber auch problemlos wenn man die Decken in anderer Reihenfolge schließt und die Zunge nicht in den Schlitz einfügt.Es wird ein kleines Vorhängeschloss mit 3-stelligem Drehzahl-Schließmechanismus mitgeliefert. Dieses ist meiner Ansicht nach jedoch eher kosmetisch als praktisch. Wer so eine Kiste stehlen will, klemmt sie sich unter den Arm und nimmt sie zu Hause auseinander. Da das Blech der Kiste schwächer ist als das Metall des Schlosses, ginge das z.B. sogar mit einer einfachen Beißzange die die Zunge öffnet.Das Schloss reicht aber vermutlich um nervige Kollegen davon abzuhalten sich ungefragt Werkzeug zu leihen.Das sind aber keine Dinge weshalb ich einen Stern abziehen würde, da sie der Qualität der Kiste keinen Abbruch tun.Da ich die Werkzeugkiste aktuell erst etwa eine Woche oder so habe, kann ich noch nichts über ihre Haltbarkeit im Laufe der Zeit sagen. So wie sie wirkt, sollte diese aber nicht leiden, wenn man sie nicht gerade als Sitzgelegenheit verwendet.Alles in allem kann ich sie nur empfehlen und würde sie aktuell auch wieder kaufen.
