Do you have to use special stream light charger on the macrostream to get light to turn green? Or can you use and micro usb and wall adapter?

Any micro usb charger and wall adapter will turn the charging light green when fully charged. If you use a lower quality cable the charging time may take longer.

How far is the throw on this one?

not far at all. couple feet. i use this daily and hate it. swapped battery with cheap one and actually has better life. light isnt very bright or wide. my old aaa battery one was way better.

Replacement clip for the Macrostream 500 lumen? I've had the flashlight for 10 months and the clip is so weak the flashlight keeps coming off.

With the clip removed from the flashlight, slightly constrict both wraparound tabs, either with your thumb, or by squeezing with pliers / Channel-Locks AFTER applying several protective layers of tape over the tabs to prevent marring the clip's finish. Worth a try before the hassle of buying a replacement clip.

Is this authentic or is it fake?
