This works great for me! I was using the old-school helping hands with two pinchers and a magnifying glass, and switching to this is like going from a scooter to a sports car.

Does what I need it to do, but you have to get out the pre-load on the arms.It will load up when you put it where you want it. You have to push it past, then back to your spot if that makes sense.Once you figure it out, it's pretty decent.Oh, and the plastic covers on the metal clamps get hot and slide off so that is aggravating if you are tying to not mar up your project.

This is the best 3rd hand tool I’ve ever used. The base is heavy and solid. The arms are flexible yet stay where they’re put. The padded clips rotate and lock into position. And the price is right. If there were a sixth star I’d give it that.But how do you pronounce ‘KLSKKJ’?

I can only say that i highly recommend this. It does the job.

If the clips were on some sort of swivel joint, it would improve the functionality of the design. Occasionally, I find myself having to re-tighten a couple things after regular use.With that being said, it's sturdy and stable. And is worth the purchase.

Got this for my wife she does this beading thing needs 5 hands she says. So I got her 4. She makes some of the nicest things now.
