These are brilliant. They sop up a considerable amount of water. I use them to clean the bilge of my boat and there are perfect. 100% recommended.

Good value

Not a lot to write about these, they are what you expect, good stiff quality sponges! I got them to use with our pool to wipe down the floor n sides from algae n slime. They do their job, and do it well. For the price, I would recommend these to anyone.

The quest for a perfect car wash sponge led to ordering a twin pack of these German sponges. At £4 for two they are certainly cheap enough, however they are far from ideal ergonomically. They are very thick (house brick size) and unyielding. You need hands like shovels to manipulate the sponge and the lack of ‘give’ makes for real difficulty when washing around car grilles and edges. All in all these are quite the opposite of the real cheap, thin pound shop sponges - but unfortunately they have there own inherent usability problems. The search for a manageable (and above all ‘long life’) car wash sponge continues.
