Bought on 3/8/2024. Review on 9/16/2025. Overall a solid laptop, i9 processor is lightning fast, keyboard by steelseries is comfortable and nice to look at. The laptop screams "I am a beast" without being overly flashy. Durable construction on the exterior. I should note that although this has top-tier hardware for the most part, the RTX 3060 6GB card it comes with is generally lacking when it comes to AAA titles. 8GB is considered minimum nowadays. This laptop also runs HOT like most gaming laptops, but dangerously close to the 100 degree C limit most chip manufacturers recommend. I see spikes up to 99 degrees alot, frequently when I'm not doing anything. Unless you know how to re-paste your CPU, which this laptop definitely benefitted from, plan on buying a GOOD cooling pad (one that seals the bottom of the laptop and is around $80-100) to get lower temperatures. I did both, and it runs nice and chilly even during extreme sessions. (I normally use my PC for heavy AAA titles, and got this for gaming on the go, I don't use it daily, about three times a week, once for gaming.) If you don't reprogram your fan curves to turn on sooner, your laptop will be getting way too hot out of the box, causing premature wear and tear. Be ready to take the back off and blow the dust out occasionally. I got a sealed shockproof case to keep mine in to mitigate dust and pet hair. Overall a solid computer, but don't expect 4k gaming on ultra settings, this is not built for that nor is this the price range of such a machine. Also, before I ever took it apart to re-paste the CPU, I heard a screw rattling around which prompted my investigation into the cooling system, one of the heat pipe screws came loose and was rattling around. This is my second MSi laptop and I'm still a fan, but build quality at this price range has diminished somewhat. If you have no idea what fan curves or CPU repasting is, definitely look into it, your laptop will last for years longer than most, with minimal effort and expense. Computers are like cars, they do require maintenance and proper cooling to last.

The package arrived right on time, it took 6 days! The laptop was in retail manufacturer's packaging which I was eager to see, and the seller did great to ensure safety of the laptop and proper handling. I had a question for the seller and used the amazon messaging system and they replied exceptionally fast and answered my question. Very very happy with my purchase so far!

Love this laptop so much, I bought 2. My daughter uses this primarily for gaming and I use it for work. The processor speed is perfect for both.

This laptop runs games with no issues. I have downloaded and tried three games with no issues. I played Guild Wars 2, Farcry5, and Techen8 on this machine and it ran smoothly. I also use it for work and hold Zoom conference calls all day long from this machine. The webcam is crisp and sharp and this machine handles all teaching activities with no issues.

It's heavier than your average laptop which gives it a more durable feel, the performance and smoothness is insane, would 100% recommend

Honestly have had it for a couple weeks now, great lap top no issues so far!

Bloatware and no newer games run above 60fps. I wish I could go back and never but this terrible "Gaming" laptop

This is an amazing laptop ! It is a bit heavy so may be in issue if you have to carry daily To work or school. Otherwise is is great!
