Bit of a puzzle at first as the instruction leaflet isn't very clear if like me you've never had one of these before, however when you sit back for a moment and have a quick think it is quite simple to work out and assemble.Although quality of components feel a bit cheap, so Im glad to see they have recently adjusted the retail price point accordingly as otherwise it would be expensive for what it is.I found the lid though is a bit of faf to get closed? but once it is with water in the jar, then the unit operates exactly as it should and puts out a nice mist stream.The ambient lighting modes require a three second press on the on/off switch which first puts into a daylight white light , a second three second press changes this to warm white light.Charging is through the USB C socket at the bottom of the jar which illuminates a red led to show it is charging. It comes with a supplied a generous sized USB- C to USB-A charging lead , although I prefer to use my own.UPDATE - I was going to give this a 3 star rating however as I write this I can feel water seepage occuring between the clear plastic jar and the acrylic base which is not good at all and suggests there isnt much of a water tight seal between these parts? I can probably rectify myself with some silicone sealent ? But certainly doesn't put any confidence in this product 's quality and therefore I am giving it just the one star as a result.
