Agar is agar however some blends just work better than others. This is one of the better ones that's not overpriced!

This helps screen for contaminants while also allowing you to select for the best genetics for growing big tasty oyster mushrooms. The instructions for this were easy to follow and yield about a 3% MEA concentration. This is perfect for gourmet mushrooms. The mixture was easy to use and after a little bit of heat, suspended in solution well. No complaints here, it worked well for me. My mushroom cultures seemed to like it too.

What instructions, it says it come with the instructions but it doesn't

I'm relatively new to mycology, but the culinary and health benefits of fresh mushrooms like oyster, shiitake and lions mane lead me to try culturing and cultivation. With this Potato Dextrose Agar Powder prepared in Petri dishes I plan to culture mycelia to propagate more shrooms. This PDA is priced better than others and the current discount makes it more attractive. I'll report back and update this review if I encounter any issues with the product.

La composición no es correcta, la dextrosa es muy baja así como no usan extracto de patata si no que usan harina de patata, no lo compren es una pérdida de dinero y tiempo
