this is nothing short of an AMAZING sauce for fried fish and, most important, baccala (salted codfish). However, it is a cooking sauce, not a dipping sauce. You are not supposed to eat it raw.Search here on Amazon for some Salted Codfish, look for the brand Colombos. Soak the fish, then pat it dry and fry it, lightly covered with flour.Slice thinly a lot of onions, sweat them in a big pot, and then add 2-3 tins of chopped tomatoes, and a BIG dollop of this hot sauce. This is the "extra hot" one, there are others that are less hot.Once the tomatoes and onion mixture has fully cooked and slightly thickened, add the fried codfish, and you got a big pot of Baccala With Onions, a traditional Italian delicacy.I'm sorry for the gentleman who tried to eat this sauce raw, but this stuff is made in heaven, you just need to know how to use it.
