Wow, I am impressed so far! This video of the cute feline was taken while I was fast asleep, the camera itself is tracking the cat. I blacked out the areas for privacy. If you notice the cat doesn’t even hear the camera moving, it’s extremely quiet. I have watched it track me and I also do not hear anything and you can also hardly tell it’s moving unless you know about it and are staring it it!! You can also turn the AI tracking completely off and just have it on a fixed area if you want. I did get the Eufy home base S380 unit with a separate (not included) Samsung 1tb SSD (exact model in my review under the home base) that slides right into the homebase and then I also keep the home base hooked up to the router with a Cat 8 40gb 2000 MHz Ethernet cable (a short Ethernet cable is included with the homebase but I needed it longer) and then the camera itself is to WiFi via the home base and it’s working great so far. The homebase acts as storage and a WiFi extender and if hooked up to your internet router with an Ethernet cable it’s strong and can record 24 hours if you want it to! I would absolutely recommend getting the homebase with this camera. You can also just hook the homebase to your internet with WiFi but I feel it is stronger with the cable. I’m a single mom but dad taught me well. So I flipped all the circuit breakers off to cut of the electricity (couldn’t find the book listing what breaker is what) and took off a previous flood light and then easily connect the existing hardwires into the 3 easy clip in connections then easily screwed in the whole unit to the existing box. Very easy and straightforward in my opinion. You may pay slightly more upfront (like maybe $300 ) compared to the better known companies that require a monthly subscription but it is well worth it. Another company wanted around $700 for a 36 month subscription, absolutely not!! You do not need a subscription and look how great that video is! As long as you set this up so connections are strong to your internet you should be very happy with it like I am. I believe they do have subscriptions for various things like cloud storage and expert monitoring if you want that. If anything changes with how happy I am with this camera I will update this, but I’m a very happy camper at the moment! Thank you to those who put the time into making this wonderful camera set up!!

A coworker suggested this brand to me because they do not need a subscription. I was skeptical at first not buying a major player brand. I came out pleasantly surprised at the quality and ease of setup. Everything went well for me and I had a complicated setup where I had to wire in a new box. They think of everything including a hook to hang the light as you are making final wire connections. The AI is not always correct though as should be expected. A couple of times I have had a scary notification at 3am that "somebody has been spotted" and it was a moth. One time was super eery as it was a moth flying erratically on the sidewalk and looked exactly like human eyes bobbing up and down walking. Be prepared for some jump scares. Another time a spider built a nest near the microphone and his legs made this loud hammering sound that was very unsettling but it was an anomaly of a small creature being right on top of the mic. The spiders will also build webs and their silk looks like some kind of alien floating orbs of white light in the middle of your viewfield. This thing has been an adventure in nerves. The HD quality is great. You get high detail unlike some other cheapo cams I've bought I the past. It's been running flawlessly for months now. I especially like that I can use a low light that shifts to high light when something is detected.

This is easily the most versatile outdoor security camera Eufy offers. ​Key Features: The highlight is the 360° PTZ function; I really like how the camera can rotate 360°, giving complete coverage of my property without blind spots. The dual-cam setup provides excellent detail and viewing options. ​Customization: The level of control is superb. It's easy to set up in the app and customize it deeply. I can change the sensitivity, privacy areas, how far it rotates, preset positions, whether the flood lights turn on or off, the level of the lights—lots of options. This lets me tailor the security exactly to my needs. ​Minor Note (App): While the hardware is flawless, I do wish Eufy had quicker access time, but that's [a]n app issue affecting all devices, not just the E340. ​For 24/7 recording, wide coverage, and excellent performance with no monthly fees, this floodlight camera is a powerhouse. Bought this and have the 380 eufy hub. Was hoping to use the hub to put it in HomeKit however it doesn’t work. The hub shows up but not the items attached to it that are not HomeKit. The camera works very well, detects motion and is very clear. The 2 lenses do a great job. The light and motion sensor work well however it would be nice to have an added feature to prevent it from coming on if you are home vs away through geofence. Overall a good purchase and easy to setup. No problems after having for one year other than the limitations noted.

Product is as advertised. Very good quality. Easy setup and pairing with Home WiFi system. The Eufy mobile app is very user friendly. The camera and features built are what I was looking for. The spotlight is bright, adjustable with light output, and cover my driveway and some. I coupdntnbe happier with this security system. I even ordered a second one for the rear of my house. This is actually my 3rd Eufy camera/monitoring system. My first one was a solar version. The S4 which covers the other higher side of my house. The floodlight is quite powerful hence purchasing a second one for the rear of my wooded lot.

I’ve been using the eufy Floodlight Camera E340 for a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with the performance. Right out of the box, you can tell it’s well-built. Installation was straightforward (just make sure you have a junction box already wired), and setup through the eufy app was quick and intuitive. The video quality is excellent—especially with the dual-camera system. You get a super clear wide-angle view plus a telephoto lens that zooms in when motion is detected. The auto-tracking is smart and smooth, and I love how it pans to follow people across my driveway or front yard. The floodlights are extremely bright (2,000 lumens), perfect for deterring unwanted activity or just lighting up the yard when I take the trash out. I also like that the motion detection works well—you can set up custom zones, and it mostly avoids false alerts (though I did get a couple from bugs flying too close to the lens). One of the biggest selling points for me was the local storage and no subscription model. I popped in a microSD card and now it records 24/7, no cloud fees or hidden costs. I’m also using it with my HomeBase 3, and it integrates nicely with my other Eufy devices.

This camera performs well as a backyard cam, offering clear and bright visuals even at night. However, the rotation is far from smooth and lacks sensitivity, which is disappointing. Eufy's software is another weak point—it’s consistently slow in delivering motion notifications, which is frustrating. Compared to my inexpensive Wyze camera, the lag is noticeable and disappointing. On the positive side, Eufy’s no-monthly-fee model is a huge plus, and I appreciate the concept. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and work on improving their app and overall user experience.

My previous 2K Floodlight camera pro works fine until it started to go "offline" and I tried everything to bring it back on. Last resort I removed the camera thinking it was dead. Replaced it with E340 floodlight. This camera is great except that when any cars backs onto the driveway or anyone is packing theirgear into his truck - there is no tracking. I even stood underneath the garage camera from left, centre and right of the camera and waved at it, the camera tracked me because I saw the camera moved but it doesn't show on my cell when I reviewed it whilst my 2K camera tracked my every move o matter where I am. I can make do with the old camera by zooming in on the video by using my two fingers to enlarge the picture. - don't need a zoom feature to do that. I like the 2K when viewing live video I can press the 360 degree it will automatically pan around the pre-set positions. Unless the glitch is resolved around the issue of a car backing up to the garage door and tracks it, I have no alternative but to return it

This camera has it all. The continuous recording as an option is great and has been very useful. We were very surprised with how far it picks up motion and tracks the object. Night and day video quality are both excellent. We have two other camera types from eufy as well with 8 camera so far that work together with the homebase. The smart automation that we can customize are amazing…awesome technology and impeccable service. Can’t give enough praise. Thank you for keeping our house and family safe.
