Crystal clear audio and quite powerful
On a whim, after neighbours complained that our sliding gate beeping was too annoying, I thought I would try a voice module that would say something like "Gate is in motion, please stand clear". Never having used one of these before, I was a bit hesitant, but took the plunge. And I am quite pleased that I did. This unit is wonderful, needing no other components to work.I went online, found a text-to-speech service and downloaded the audio into the module as an mp3 file. The result was crystal clear speech. The only issue I have is that I am trying to control it with an Arduino. I wish there was a busy signal to indicate when a file is playing. There is a light output at 12V that activates during a file play but for some reason this is a bit troublesome to use since the negative line does not appear to be tied to ground. But I am using a workaround. All in all, I think this is a very capable and well built device. Well worth the cost.

Works great, gets loud, plays WAV's as well!
Very easy to use, about as close to plug and play as it gets. Includes a little screwdriver for the terminals. The images here show the pinout but it is also silk-screened on the bottom of the board which is nice. My source file is a WAV and not that it's hard to convert I just wanted to see if it would play it and it does! My application involves rapid triggering and this unit responds reasonably well to that, adds a small (less than half a second) fade out and fade in but still replays quickly enough without any sample popping or anything uncomfortable. Gets very loud!

Continuous loop clicks at end, then loops
Board seems of solid build and delivery was quick and smooth. I bought ten of these for an art installation that requires each board to play a continuous loop of a 50 second Indian drone sound loop in a meditative environment. Unfortunately, even when I modify the sound loop to fade up and fade down at the beginning and the end, the board produces a loud audible click or pop at the end of the loop, then starts the loop back to the beginning as expected. It is pretty disruptive in this situation.I have tried the Play/Pause loop mode and the last MP3 mode 2 which goes through a playlist of five sound loops on the TF card 00001.wav through 00005.wav. I get a pop in both playback cases.Interestingly. when I playback the same wav files in loop mode in audacity and Win 11 Media player, there is no click. When I play back in VLC, ffplay and on this board, I get a click. If I can't find a work around this week these are being returned.

Works Really, Really Well!
I have purchased more than a dozen of these types of triggered MP3 boards. This one is configurable and very well made. Many of these types of MP3 players, even though they operate virtually the same are cheap. (I was not ashamed of this one!) Just make sure that you label your MP3 files in the "four zero digit" manner. (Ex. 00001.mp3) A file named "0001.mp3 will not work! Aside of that I gave it 5 stars because it sounds clear and only $15.99.

Works like a charm
I was a little skeptical, but this thing is great. Super easy to use, 5 digit audio files were no problem. I am using it along with a little remote relay to trigger sound effects which play over the hailer horn on my boat. It's SUPER loud at 30 watts.

Great sound
I was really impressed about the quality of the sound out put from this device. The sound files that comes with it have bad quality. But you can load MP3. Sound is great.Easy to operate...

Does what it says.
About as easy as you can get. Plug the board into your computer with supplied USB cable and a folder pops up. Put your mp3 files in there and replace the placeholder sound files already there with the same name, such as, 0001, 0002, etc. disconnect from your computer. Power the card, connect a single speaker, then add a switch (or simply connect a wire to ground and touch the other end of wire to the 1-9 terminals). Your loaded files will play. To adjust how they play, use the dip switches. The logic is clearly outlined on this page. You can adjust max volume using the Pot on the board. Volume is decent. Would be nice to be able to add an amp, but for the price, this is an amazing little board.

Convert to mp3 at 32k
Using for dog bark setup. Will hook through relay to doorbell. Had issues with mp3 not working, voice recorder on phone for recording my dogs barking saves as .m4a, convert online to mp3 and no worky.Needed to change online m4a to mp3 conversion to 32k then saved as 00001.mp3 on device , works.“Light” output is 12 v or so, relay likely a good idea, I’m going to use a cheap 12v 10 second delay relay to power a light of some sort.Doorbell rings, dogs start barking, 10 seconds later light goes on. Should make the lowlifes think twice!Note I saved 30 seconds of dog barking, ended up around 0.5mB, it has 8mB internal, so should be lots.

Storage
Received the item. It is easy to set up. Tried to transfer some sounds, but very quickly filled up the storage. On checking the properties, I found that I only had 7.96mb of capacity. Have not been able to use for what I required. I believed the item I purchased had 64mbit of storage.
