Just got my beanie and gator and I have to say for the money - an excellent purchase! Both are thick and warm and actually, the gator might be a little too thick for a cool day but probably great for a really cold day (hasn't gotten cold yet so really can't tell) but, the front and back is contoured a little longer than the sides which seem like it will be great protection for wind if your jacket isn't zipped up all the way. Nice material, super soft inside, love the colors, fits good, great deal!

Beanie is thick, warm, and durable. The inside is soft fleece and comfortable. Fleece feels good around the forehead. Not itchy. I haven’t used the neck gaiter but I am sure it is just as soft, warm, and comfy like the beanie. The beanie doesn’t feel cheap and thin. Other than a little stretching when putting it on, it has maintained its fit and feels comfortable.

Beanie I like a lot, warm and comfortable but if it's colder than 35 degrees and windy it doesn't protect your ears good enough because it's not thick enough down there to cover your ears properly. A stiff steady cold wind will get to your ears....I wear a fleece neck gaiter with it and cap it with the beanie, but not the one that came with the hat because that is for the Arctic. Not only that, it's hard to breathe with the damn thing on because of the layer that's on top of the fleece. It's too thick! It's not that it's not made well because it is, but it's just too much for my needs. Still, the price for both is excellent, you can't beat it. If it drops down to 10 below zero I will be stoked. But I probably would wear a thicker hat.

I'm a Merchant Mariner on the Great Lakes and this was my go to this winter. Very warm hat and neck protector slides up go keep my face warm too. Kept me warm even after hours outdoors.

Never used the neck gator but the beanie kept my bald head nice and warm this past winter.

I can't believe the negative reviews on this product. Some saying it wouldn't fit a child? OMG couldn't be more wrong. This hat is perfect size has a little extra room. The materials are top of the line and the quality it apparent as soon as you hold it in your hand. The next gator is thick and wide, did I mention warm? When used together, my eyes are the only thing visible. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I am so happy I took a chance on it. It was in my cart for 3 weeks, I was worried about the reviews but pulled the trigger because of the great price. I love the fleece liner, it's colorful and fun but adds weight and warmth. I wish I knew this before Christmas because it would make a great gift idea. I'm so very impressed. Don't think twice, it's a great product.
