Everbuild General Purpose Silicone Sealant – Waterproof – Suitable for Interior and Exterior Use – Brown – 280ml

i bought it for my kitchen renovation and I'm really impressed with it so far. The application was pretty straightforward just cut the nozzle, load it in the gun and it flowed nicely without making a huge mess. I used it around my sink and to seal the gap between my backsplash and countertop. It adhered really well to both the stainless steel and tile surfaces. What I like most is that it dried quickly and looks really clean against my white tiles. It's definitely the cheapest option I found that seemed decent quality. The waterproof seal seems solid, I've splashed plenty of water around while washing dishes and haven't noticed any issues. Only downside is the smell while applying, but that dissipated after a day. For the price, this stuff is a great value and I'll probably grab another tube for my bathroom project next month.

One star because: The silicone is solid in the tube. Manufacturing date on tube states 23-09-25 so, apparently, well in date. I have ordered a replacement so will see how that goes. I don't know if this makes any difference but the brown colour. UPDATE Now 3 stars because: The replacement tube is fine - I could feel the difference in "sponginess" of the tube. The replacement was here with 48 hours. There is obviously an issue with quality control as evidenced by previous tube.

It's easy to work with and dries real quick. I took away one * because there was no cap provided and every time I stopped applying the sealant, I had to make sure someone held a finger against the tip of the noosle. Not convenient at all. Oh, and for once, the colour is indeed brown. As deep brown as the noosle shows. So beware. It's not like others, it's true to colour. So know how dark brown this is.
