This is because this book is an edited version of P.F. Case's 'Tarot Card Meanings: Fundamentals'.I recommended getting 'Tarot Card Meanings: Fundamentals' and using 'Wisdom of The Ages' as a quick reference guide instead!I highly recommend reading these books if you are interested in learning from an author who presents the original and true card meanings and symbolism in a fulfilling and easy to understanding way. This book is a seminal work. It has to be read forwards, then backwards, then tapped into 'at random'. Then you have to read what is not said as much as 'is said'. You will also find magic in the white spaces between the words.If you want some magic in your world, get a copy and treasure it for the keys it holds.

A very in depth description of the history of tarot and the meanings of each tarot card. It also goes into numbering and colour.It is a classic in its own right and l found it a good read with lots of insight.

I'm still going through this book, but so far it is proving to be an interesting read if you're into this subject.

Useful and informative. Anyone who is more than superficially interested in tarot should have this work on their shelf.My disappointment was that Case does not go into detail regarding the minor arcana - their interpretation can have more depth than Case gives credit for in the book.
