Just put it on my old long aluminum ladder to get onto rooftop so I could work on the gutter. Before the ladder rested on gutter and could not fix the gutter. Install and set up was about 10 min. I personally did not use all the washers and wing bolts just the regulars bolts were fine and held it on . Moving it around on the roof back and forth it did not loosen up at all and I only hand tightened them. Did everything you shouldn't when installing and using and it went perfect so great product!!! Saved me from falling if I was to not have this

Aluminum ladder stabilizer is light weight, sturdy and work very well as the description. This is a good assessor that add safety to DIY at home project. Would be great if this company has a light weight ladder leg stabilizer.

I was going to install aftermarket gutter guards and decided to finally install a stabilizer on my extension ladder, to prevent being on the gutters while working. These were affordable and they did the job. It does make taking down and putting back the ladder on the wall inside my garage a little awkward, but I have no desire to remove these since I go up on the roof several times a year. However, I would have liked better instructions and diagrams.

Aluminum square tube construction with adjustable width up to 36" and a fixed 12" standoff distance. The brackets and hardware are steel. Brackets can be bolted to the ladder in addition to the U-clamps. All hardware supplied, good and welds are very good. I'm using it for permanent installation on my 21' extension ladder for gutter screen installation and maintenance. Will also use it for painting. I love that it is lightweight making it easier to handle the ladder (very important), will make my tasks safer and less damaging to the gutters and roof. The tubes can easily be removed from the mounted brackets if needed. No complaints at all about this product.

Works as intended and as advertised. Very solid. Highly recommend. Had to change a smoke detector on my 22' ceiling. This addition moves the to of the ladder about 18 inches out from the wall, getting closer to the detector, which is about 2 feet from wall on the ceiling. Only criticism is when attached, the U bolts are a couple inches away from the side rail, and presses on the arms which prevents them from being adjusted or removed (which is good, holds them nice & tight). Just have to loosen U bolts if want to remove or adjust arms. No big deal. I don't foresee needing to adjust or remove them. Comes with both normal bolts to attach, or can use supplied wing nuts if you anticipate removing it periodically. I may try bolting the bigger flat part that rests on the rail to the rail and see if still solid without U bolts tightened on arms. Overall, very happy with it, and glad the rubber tips did not punch thru the dryall it was set up against.

I have a 10' extension ladder (extends to 19') and I wanted to check my eave troughs but did not want to risk damaging them with the ladder resting on the eave troughs. I bought this product to solve this issue, which it did. BUT the real benefit is how much more secure my ladder is with the ladder stabilizer. I am 79 years old and now realize I should have bought this product many years ago. My adult son climbed the ladder and immediately commented on how stable the ladder was with the stabilizer. I am very happy I bought it. It is adjustable width and sturdy construction.

So far so good, I havent died yet. I use this all the time, its quite rugged. However I feel like if it breaks its going to be on the U bolt. It just feels like they may have not used good metal on the U bolt. I am starting to notice some discoloring between the threads. I am sure I can replace the U bolts quite easilly, but if it just had a little more rugged U bolt id give it 5/5 stars. Fits good on all ladders, easy to use but not super easy as you have to wind the wing nuts, very stable, value is there for the cost.

Fits the two ladders I have perfectly and easy to add/remove. Makes the job safe. The gutters stay in perfect shape. Ça fait très bien sur mes deux échelles. Rend les travaux très sécuritaires et ça empêche d’abîmer les gouttières.

Stabilisateur en acier peint et PAS EN ALUMINIUM et ne correspondant pas aux photos , ni à la description. Est-ce une erreur d'envoi?? J'ai demandé le renvoi, car je n'ai vu nul part la possibilité contre celui que j'ai commandé. Impossible de joindre le vendeur pour avoir une explication. Je suis très déçu !!!! Avec les renseignements fourni par le vendeur, il est impossible d'effectuer le retour du produit. A l'aide de Google, on a pu traduire l'adresse, pour la déclaration de douane qui est obligatoire, je n'ai ni l'adresse mail, ni le n° de téléphone qui sont obligatoires pour obtenir le document de douane. Et toujours de nouvelles du vendeur.

I received what appeared to be a box of spare parts. There were three legs (only two are requires) non of which matched and only one of those had a rubber foot on it. The holes in the center piece were orientated in the wrong direction, which would result in the legs running parallel to the ladder instead of protruding out, if the legs were to fit at all. The supplier did issue a refund, but I got the impression that they were not surprised by my complaint.
