Perfect for renters
If you have a hole in your wall this is the best all-in-one kit. My landlord will never know! It has everything you need and you can easily cut the drywall to fit any size hole you need to cover. Once I put some touch up paint over the spot it's like it never even happened. How would they know? The instructions were easy to follow and my roommate was shocked to come home to find a like-new wall. You don't need a man, you just need this kit (any maybe a drill) !

Easy to use
Honestly, kit worked great! Easy to use. We had a hole the size of a cantaloupe and worked great. You would never know if you didn’t know. I will buy again if needed but hopefully not needed ;).

Good kit, but it's missing the sanding block and slightly different from what's pictured.
Drywall arrived slightly damaged, but fortunately, it was just outside of the area that I was trimming off anyways. My kit is missing the sanding block, which is a bummer. There is a different putty knife than pictured, but I actually like it better. The putty comes in three separate giant toothpaste tubes, which is cool. Helps control the mess and makes application more controlled. There's probably three times the quantity that I realistically need for a project this size, though. The blade is plenty sharp, but the handle is pretty low quality so be careful because it doesn't lock. Boards are much thinner than expected, but it does the trick. Just don't put your hand directly behind it because you'll send a screw right into your flesh when it punches through.

Great kit for a small job
Exactly everything you need for a small repair job. As a few other folks said, if you were to buy the pieces separately, you'd be spending more. There were 3 bottles of putty, plenty for any job that would use the included size of drywall. You'll likely end up with some extra for other projects, too. Also comes with simple and intuitive instructions if you need them.

Everything I needed!
If I’d had some of these components I would have bought individual items, but this was my first drywall project and I needed all the items included since I didn’t even have scrap wood for shims. My texturizing skills need some practice, but that has nothing to do with the product. I loved that this kit had what I needed and I could get it quick to complete the repair. I also think this kit saved so much money as opposed to buying everything individually. All around I’m very happy.

Everything you need in one box!
This is an excellent kit. You'll need tools - a wall saw, screwdriver and drill. All the materials are in there. I liked the knife but I wasn't pushing down on it. I like to make several small cuts. Drywall snaps pretty easy. The compound is excellent. Dries well. Plastic scraper is good size. Generous with 4 wood pieces. I have enough material to patch in the future. Here's what I did: After weeks of looking for a "California" or "Texas" patch for my 2" hole, I decided to order this kit. I cut off a 5" x 5" square of drywall from the 12" drywall included in kit. Then scored, just the drywall, a 2" x 2" square. Snapped it. Gently peeled off the drywall and left the surrounding paper. Went to wall. Traced out the drywall and cut damaged hole to fit my 2 x 2 square. Next, I cut one of the wood pieces to 1.5" wide, the width was perfect :). Attached a screw to the wood piece so I had something to grab. Tilt the wood backing thru the wall. Hold temp screw while I drilled 2 pilot holes for the drywall screws. Attach the wood backing with the screws. Dry fit drywall patch. remove. Smear compound around edges and extend compound so drywall paper will saturate. Fit patch into wall. Finish up with more compound. It's looking good for a white haired, old lady fixer upper. :) Shout out to all the You Tube videos I watched for "California & Texas" drywall patches. Highly recommend the kit. Yeah, I've got all this stuff in my garage but it sure was nice not to hunt around looking for drywall screws, scrap wood, drywall, sandpaper (loved the block!) and scraper, compound.

The kit includes everything you will need.
Everything you need for a small repair job. The price is pretty good considering that buying everything individually would cost you more and leave you with lots of left over material. The putty was really easy to work with and there was enough left over to fix some other random holes in my walls. Would buy again.
