after using for 17 months, stop working for no reason, i contacted the seller as it was still under warrantee. the seller replaced and give me a brand new item. that was amazing

Thinking I could save some money, I bought this Black & Decker steam iron after my reliable Tefal iron fell on the floor and broke. Big mistake! This has to be one of the worst irons I've ever used. First major issue: it's way too light. Without using the water spray function, it barely presses out any creases. You end up working twice as hard just to get basic results. Who designed this? But the most frustrating part has to be the ridiculously short power cord. My home electrical outlets are near the floor, making it impossible for this iron to reach the ironing board properly. I have to use an extension cord just to iron - absolutely ridiculous design flaw. I tried to give it a chance, but after struggling with it for a while, I deeply regret not spending more on a better brand. The only thing this iron has taught me is that sometimes trying to save money ends up costing you more in frustration and wasted time. Never buying Black & Decker products again after this disappointment. Save yourself the hassle and stick with better brands like Tefal

I love the light weight and smoothness it gives clothes, it’s worth every penny !

Used several times now, and it is really good The only I had ro comment on is the handle thay is not well engineered (not smoothhang the head)

الجهاز ممتاز قوى .البخار ودرجاته جيدة جدا ...العيب الكبير فى الصراع.التيوب. الخرطوم سئ جدا وضعيف لا يتحمل البخار ومع ضغط البخار ينثنى ولا يعمل الجهاز بشكل جيد. اى اقتراحات لإصلاح هذا العيب....

The iron is meant to auto shut-off if the iron is idle for more than 10min, which is an important safety feature: [...] This feature does not work for the iron I purchased and I'm unable to get through to the Black&Decker helpdesk to request a service. I'm planning to return this item, if this is not fixed. I recently had a harrowing experience with another iron (not B&D) where the thermostat did not work which caused the iron to catch fire and thankfully we put it out before it did too much of damage. The auto shut-off feature is important if the thermostat fails.
