Fish are thriving.
Fish are thriving and it’s mostly because of the water! I keep the ph around 8.2 with this product. It dissolves well in the water and it is easy to dose. It’s lasting me awhile so definitely worth the money.

Great stuff - Highly Recommend
This stuff is amazing!!! My fish are vibrant, healthy, and thriving ever since I added it to my aquarium. keep in mind that if you use this product there's no reason to add Trace in addition to it. There are more than enough Trace elements in this mixture to keep your fish happy.

If you have water softener water
The PH on soft water is okay for cichlids, but I was concerned about general hardness. This fixed the issue overnight. AND honestly the fish have colored up a lot. I have mostly young to juveniles so time will tell. I LOVE Sea Chem products-they are the cadillac of aqurium supplies.

Its salt
Would go 5. Just started using also if it was made here locally like my last Brand that a local fish store use to sell. When they did indoor tank fish now its only hydro and pond fish.

Must have for African Cichlids, Eye popping colors promotes healthy/happy fish
If you are keeping African Cichlids this stuff is a must have! Add once a month to my 135 gallon African tank and my fish are just vibrant and healthy. In my 30 years of tank keeping I have not found any other product like Seachem for water chemistry! This is the best way to replicate the waters for African Cichlids.

Works well and resulted in happy Cichlids

Essential if you have African Cichlids. I produce my own RO water as my tap water is high in Nitrates. So I use this to put minerals back into the water along with using Cichlid Trace and Tanganyika Buffer. All this results in my Mbuna looking their best.

Part of keeping fish in peak stress-free condition, especially for sensitive tropical fish, is to match the environment the species have come from. This is one parameter that is met - by keeping the salt levels up. My fish are thriving so I consider this job done.
