While I wouldn’t use it as a main socket, it’s really useful to throw on a toolbelt to save weight. Worked on everything I’ve thrown at it so far.

If, like me , your always rummaging around in your toolbox for various Sockets and Spanners to tighten or loosen things then this is ideal to have close to hand. Just fit it over the nut or bolt and the spring loaded inner bars fit around the item you're trying to tighten or undo. It's not perfect. Sometimes it might slip a little depending on what your trying to do or undo, or it might just grip enough for you to finish what you started quickly, and easily, without the faffing! For me it's even gripped a few round head screws that were proving to be a pain, so it's already earned its keep from my point of view! You may well have seen something similar on some late night shopping channels, or in some Supermarkets but for the price here on Amazon I don't think you can go wrong! A handy little piece of kit to add to your arsenal of tools. Find a place in your toolbox for this. Recommended. 5*.

This isn’t the most important bit of kit in my tool box but as a standby when you haven’t got the right size or style of bit this is worth having. Simple to use and easy to keep in the drill box.

Great little tool

The only issue is the depth. It needs to be twice the depth as the mechanism only allows it to fit shallow nuts & bolts so if the shaft of the bolt is extending beyond the nut it won’t fit!! Needs a rethink but a great idea

I've only used it a couple of times and can say it is of acceptable quality. It also comes with the hex adapter. Recommended item but delivery is long due to China origin.

I bought this primarily to work on guitars, their electronics and guitar pedals.I'll be honest, it's not the miracle tool I was expecting but perhaps that's because my expectations where too high.That said it does save a on a considerable amount of bit swapping.

Not used yet- but this sort of tool is normally only used when trying to remove screws/bolts with damaged heads. The day will come!
