Have had 2 air fryers in previous, both of which blew up and were not worth the money. I therefore waited some years before risking it again. At home it is just the two of us and now that we have got a lot older, simple easy cooked meals with fresh ingredients is the best for us. This Dualit air fryer has been brilliant. It is easy to use, perfect for 2-4 helpings. I bought a cook book for British “eaters” and a food thermometer which a friend recommended which has taken the guesswork out of cooking for the right amount of time, especially when you are adapting your own recipes. I bought the fryer just before Xmas and have only used my main oven once since then. It has made a huge difference to the electric bill and cooks healthier food. A real bonus is that it is made by a reliable, well established BRITISH company and excellent value for the money.

Bought Dualit as already have Dualit kettle and toaster which are excellent and which it matches in style.Works well, simple controls, easy to clean.

The media could not be loaded.  See video. The tray barely comes out. This would be very dangerous in a hot oil situation.Also the cooking chamber is lined in teflon which is a known endocrine disruptor.

Good size for 2 portions and lots of room still left. It's wider and was more shallow than I expected. So I like that I was able to have more food spread out and was able to cook more evenly. Its easy to use and there is an led screen to show you the temperature and time you put in. The drawer does get a bit stuck when I try to open it, you need to push your thumb on the actual fryer while holding the drawer handle, if you want to open it with one hand. It cooks stuff really fast, I find myself having to lower the temperature to make sure the food is cooked through. The tray inside can be a bit difficult to remove without scratching the side of the drawer. Both the drawer and tray can be difficult to wash without some soaking since it has a lot of bumps and places where grease and food can get stuck. I like using it though and hopefully the drawer will get easier to open after many uses.

I had previously bought a top of the range tefal air fryer that was a Which best buy but turned out to be a disaster. It was noisy and incredibly complicated. I ended up giving that to a charity shop and swore never to get an air fryer again. I got a big discount offer for this so thought I would try again and so glad I did. It is extremely easy and intuitive to use. Fits nicely in a corner and light enough to move forward easily to use it. Much quieter to use and very pleased with the results so far. I had read about the drawer being a bit hard to open but just use 2 hands and it is not an issue for me

The media could not be loaded.  This Dualit air fryer looks sleek and works very well.I tried thick cut potatoes as seen in my photos. I put in 500g and sprinkled just 20ml of vegetable oil on them. AFter 20 minutes at 200°C I had some perfectly evenly cooked crispy fries.It's easy to clean and maintain. The non stick surface is excellent.The display is bright. It's easy to use and intuitive even without the manual. There are lots of preset modes for commonly cooked items but it has full manual control too. Dualit provide an online cooked book of ideas too.It's a fairly large appliance to have on your worktop. When in use, it needs to be at least 20cm away from a wall behind it and there shouldn't be any cupboards above it within 1 metre! This might be restrictive for some people, but it's a safety issue.

This product is poorly made. Handle came loose and broke off within a week. This is probably due to the draw being overly difficult to remove. Dualit customer services were useless and wouldn't rectify the problem although it was clearly within the warranty period. I used to think Dualit products were quality but not anymore.
