This is like my 6th one I've bought lol I use these to keep track of all my different key sets. Won't ever buy another gps tag as this one does wonders. Coolest thing about them is you can ring them from your (smartthings) app when they are within range. So works great for losing keys and etc. You can ring them and find them in a few seconds but you have to turn power save mode off to use it. With power save mode on, they last many months without needing to change the battery. I typically unselect power save in the app and ring my keys (if lost), than turn it back to power save mode after I find them

Freaking awesome!! I love these smart tags i use 1 to keep track of a vehicle i have in case it gets stolen and also have 1 on my truck keys in case i loose them. I love the features i can find my phone by double pressing tag button. So far the smart tag seems accurate was super easy to set up will be further testing it throughout the coming days. Update... after further testing these tags work so good i can almost always get an updated location on my tags even when my phone is not anywhere near them not even im the same town but also the distance they stay connected to my phones Bluetooth is over a city block if not more. I couldn't be happier with them!!!

I am testing out the effectiveness of the Samsung Tag to see if it could be a useful replacement to Tiles products. Since I do jot.own and.Apple Product, the airtags are not a solution for my purposes. I use the Tile products on keys and my bikes as an added way of finding them should they be stolen or lost. Since Tile is owned by Life360, I think the premium Tile service that I pay $29 a year for will now go to $130 a year. In my tests so far, the Samsung tag has worked well in showing a history of where it has been. May not be as precise a path of its locations but close enough, the Tile products seems to be more accurate in this area. It is better when it has not moved for a period of time to pinpoint locations. The sound it makes is a but weak when compared to other products when trying to locate it using uour phone. One feature I do like a lot is the replaceable battery. Apple Airtags also have replaceable batteries. Most all Tile products do not have replaceable batteries. The may well be a good option to replace Tile for those non apple phone users.

So far, this thing is great for my dog's collar. It can track our walks together, or find him if he were to wander off. I got a special silicon collar tag to put it in for greater usability. The battery is simple to charge and lasts plenty long. You can choose a sound to play, and its loud enough to hear from a good distance. It connected to My Samsung phone right away, so compatibility isnt an issue. Incredibly easy.

Have two of these for the dogs. Cheap and easy to set up. Didn't want to pay for GPS trackers, but wanted to know where they are in case they escape in the neighborhood.

Used it on my recent trip to Europe. Worked well. Though signal can jam in the airport sometimes due to wifi connection or cell signal

Für alle, die ein Samsung Smartphone besitzen, ist der SmartTag 2 fast schon ein Pflichtkauf. Das Gerät fügt sich nahtlos in das riesige Samsung Ökosystem ein und genau das ist der große Vorteil gegenüber anderen Marken: Die Tracking-Abdeckung ist durch die Vielzahl an Samsung Geräten auf dem Markt einfach unschlagbar. Die Einrichtung ist kinderleicht: SmartThings-App öffnen, SmartTag einschalten – und schon wird er automatisch erkannt und verbunden. Danach noch schnell benannt und am Schlüsselbund oder einem anderen Gegenstand befestigt, und schon ist man startklar. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Zusatzfunktionen: Mit einem Doppelklick lässt sich zB das eigene Smartphone klingeln lassen (falls man es mal wieder verlegt hat) und mit einem langen Druck können sogar SmartHome Geräte gesteuert werden – geniale Idee! Was die Batterielaufzeit betrifft, schneidet der SmartTag laut vielen Tests besser ab als die Konkurrenz. Ich selbst musste die Batterie bisher noch nicht wechseln. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf den SmartTag 3 und hoffe, dass er noch kompakter und flacher wird. Aber selbst in der aktuellen Version ist der SmartTag ein durchdachtes und zuverlässiges Gadget, das im Alltag echten Mehrwert bietet. Absolute Empfehlung für Samsung-Nutzer!
