Is it a “harder” or rather “softer” foam? I’ve bought a hard one once, I was looking for it to buy again, but I received a very soft one 😞

I would mark the Bamboo Neck Pillow at 7.5 out of 10 - 0 being very soft and 10 very hard. I find, the extra support to my neck helps me get a better night's sleep. In my opinion, it could have been made slightly bigger in size. I hope this helps.

Does the memory foam pillow soften over time?

I have found that after a year it has definiatley softened but still the only pillow I would use now. Hence I shall be buying another and using the old one for travelling.

This looks a bit thin in the photos. Does it allow your head to sink into it?

There are 2 thicknesses on the pillow. suits people with different sizes of neck. Your head sinks softly into it yet it supports the cervical spine area. I find it very comfortable and do not have as much shoulder pain in the morning.

Specification says 10x5x5cm - an error?

Yes I think that is an error. It is smaller than your average pillow but only by a couple of inches. I bought my one as a gift and cannot give you the exact measurements.
