Great product, Very well built… Simple installation. Be sure to use sufficient teflon tape . I reduced the intake to 3/4 with a pvc bushing. As an added precaution I placed a hose clamp around the outer edge of the bushing before putting the 3/4" hard pipe in… It's a bit of extra insurance to prevent splitting of the bushing,, so why not ? BTW,, not all pvc bushings are the same. If there is a visible seam in the threads I won't use them. They tend to leak under pressure. Also, a small amount of plumbers putty with tape was helpful in preventing the minor weep on the intake side that others have experienced here.This two stage canister unit serves as the primary whole house filter from pressure tank. (well system). No noticeable change in 40/60 pressure. Plan to install a third canister to the kitchen water feed using a 0.5 micron filter. Not sure it's needed but it's an easy do ,so why not ? I expect some minor pressure drop on this line but it's used for drinking water and cooking only.The final 3rd stage filter can always be changed to meet future needs…. I ordered the slightly thicker o-rings (capt o-ring 151122 ) They fit.Update 6 Jan 2019. System is still working well… no leaks ,,,Changed the primary filter,, used the same O ring. No problems. In my opinion this is probably one of the best filter systems out there.Update Jul 2020…. System continues as expected. Changed the primary and secondary filters ,,, Reused the o rings again , Third filter and no leaks,,,,,,,p/n 15122. Installed the third filter described above about a year ago for kitchen…… Used a 0.5 carbon filter... Works well with a slight reduction in pressure. Also installed an RO system the get's its supply from the secondary filter , The RO system feeds the ice maker as well.

Installed this to stop the rusty water we get in my area and also filter some of the chemicals out.I used 3/4 pex and everything went smooth. I noticed people talking about a small leak from the center. When I first pulled the unit without the blue tanks on the table noticed it was rocking a little kind of like a V. I placed it on my granite counter loosened the 8 bolts on top and pressed it down to have them sit flush and take the pressure of that center nut. I’m not a rocket scientist but knew that couldn't be good and might make it leak. After getting it all installed I slowly turned the water on and checked the bypass first. Once that was good I installed the filters with some grease on the gasket rings and tightened them up. Side note they don’t screw in all the way you have a 1/4 gap or so. So don’t try and crank them in and break something.As far as my water quality I can definitely see a difference. The water has a far less chlorine smell and no more brown toilet water. So I’m pretty happy with the results!

I am absolutely thrilled with both the iSpring product and the outstanding customer support provided by Francis!After installing it by myself, I encountered a minor leak. Despite my best efforts, there was a slight water leak in three separate places. #1 is fixed with a slight tightening, but #2 (the other side) and #3 did not stop. I reached out to iSpring's support, and Francis stepped in to assist me. His response was not only prompt but incredibly detailed and helpful. Following his instructions, I applied O-ring grease, which stopped the leak at #3. Although it didn't completely stop the leak at #2, it did help reduce it.That is when Francis quickly arranged for replacement parts to be sent to me. He provided a tracking number and kept me updated throughout the process. The replacement arrived swiftly, and I am happy to report that the system is now working perfectly. The leak has been resolved, and the system is performing flawlessly.Whenever we experience heavy rain or a series of rainy days, the water in our city often turns brown for several hours, sometimes even longer. During these times, the city sends out water quality warning text messages. Residents in our subdivision are advised to flush their taps until the water runs clear again, as recommended by the city. After installing the iSpring filter, we had three days of rain, yet the water inside our house remained clear. However, the water in our garden, which is not filtered through the iSpring system, was as brown as usual.The product itself is top-notch, and Francis’s support was the cherry on top. His dedication to resolving my issue and his detailed instructions made a potentially stressful situation smooth and straightforward.Thank you iSpring and Francis for both their excellent products and their exceptional customer service.

Sorting out water filter issues can be challenging. We found our ISpring water filters to be extremely well built and very easy to install.The big thing, though, is the terrific product support from Ispring!It can take more than just good filters to get good water, it can be a daunting process sorting out which filters are needed and getting everything you need.Sean at ISpring was amazing. He spent a ton of time and effort with us helping us figure out what we needed and getting the right filters selected and installed.We installed a Carbon/Iron Manganese filter set with a sediment spin down filter. They were all very easy to install, didn't leak, are built like tanks and very easy to maintain.Couldn't recommend Ispring and Sean more.

I installed the iSpring WGB21BM Whole House Filter, together with iSpring Spin Down Filter to provide cleaner water to the entire house. Fitted well into external Water Pump housing and works well. You will need to purchase all the pipe fittings seperately and take note of the iSpring manual to use 15 rotations of PTFE Tape, I also coated with Thread Sealant to all thread joints to be extra safe as its running under pressure. I would also recommend checking the supply options of the filter types for future replacements. These will be needed every 6 to 12 months depending on water volume.
