Wonderful book for me, because I'm making Christmas gifts (hot pads & oven mitts) for Christmas, so I really needed this book on edge-finishing/binding. This was exactly what I needed & seems to be very well written & easy to follow. Book was exactly what I was hoping for! Super seller & very fast arrival!

I was hoping this book would teach me something new. There is a lot of good info, but nothing I didn't know. I was going to send it back, but I decided to keep it just in cast my daughter and/or granddaughter decides to start sewing.

This book explains over and over how to calculate the length of the binding needed (why? It’s always the same!), but leaves out pertinent details, e.g. how to get a nice straight edge when sewing the binding the second time. That’s what I was after, but it just says “sew”. You don’t say!I don’t appreciate blurry photos and extra words/typos either. Explanations are bad, and some are overly complicated. Deonn doesn’t explain well.This book is a huge disappointment, I do not recommend it.
