Good small trowels
Good small trowels. I needed to repoint some decorative stone and brick on my home. The handles are comfortable and clean up well from the type-N brick mortar. I've used them at least 10 separate times and I'm not seeing any rust yet, though I am careful to clean them well and dry them after each use. They are smaller, which worked well for the repointing, but I was wishing they were bigger when I was repeatedly scooping lots of mortar to place large concrete caps on a retaining wall.

For a DIYer, great.
An economical pair of trowels for a DIY user. I used these for my first little block-laying project and the poor quality of my work in no way is the fault of the trowels. They worked fine and the gobs of mortar on the ground were simply due to my inexperience. People of similar inexperience will also want a tuck-pointing trowel, or make due with a popsicle stick as I did.
