These will not break!
I'm usually one for using 7a's but they break so fast because I use a china cymbal. These were a god send. They have a nice light feel but are thick enough to take the brunt of any cymbal or skin.

Lowest quality ever seen
I've been buying this item many times before, over time i noticed the quality getting lower and lower and after my last purchase (bought 4 pairs) they reached the bottom... almost all of the completely broke playing only 3 concerts!! where in the past they were used to last months.... no idea what happened there but seems that right now they're made out of paper...

Ich habe diese Sticks bestellt, um ein bisschen leiser am Akustikset zu sein. Sonst spiele ich Promark 5A aus Hickory und 5B Promark aus Eiche, wobei letztere schon um einiges schwerer sind. Ich verbrauche im Jahr zwei vier Sticks, wuerde mich also nicht als "heavy Hitter" bezeichnen, auch wenn ich Punkrock spiele. Diese Sticks waren bei mir nach zwei Stuecken durch. Also wer nen Rimshot spielt, sollte von diesem Modell Anstand nehmen. Das Holz ist nicht so richtig robust und fuer den Verschleiss waeren die mir zu teuer. My 5ct

These sticks are just mind blowing,, as it is maple it’s very light and has a great feel,, this is my perfect pair ❤️❤️💯💯, everyone should try these,, thanks to Vic firth, please make more sticks like these,, this is a treat indeed for all the drummers out there

The sd1 general rock maple sticks are like they have built in chops. They are light with nice flex and great feel. My new favorite sticks. Update: these sticks are great on the practice pad and work well on the drum kit. The maple wood produces a really sweet pop on rim shots. Unfortunately they also produce a lot of shock on rim shots. After a session on the kit with these my left hand is tingling and twitching which is very unpleasant. I’m using Ahead sticks more on the kit which eliminate virtually all shock. The sd1 sticks are still wonderful on the practice pad though.
