My almost 9 year old LOVES putting together Lego's and other engineering type projects, he also loves heavy machinery like dump trucks (one of his first big words as a child was excavator). This dump truck not only teaches your child the mechanics of the steering and dumping mechanisms but also hours of fun building the truck. The instructions were clear, but I wish the parts were broken down by step, it would have decreased the build time by a lot.
