I love this mascara! It stays put and does not smudge on me! I have been using it for several years and have tried other mascaras, but I always come back to Maybelline Stiletto!!

Does this product contain fibers that lengthen?

No, it doesn't have fibers. It lengthens lashes very well though. I have short lashes and with this I at least have the appearance of lashes. I do use this New York Maybelline mascara and it does well and doesn't end up under your eyes by the end of the day. If you want a mascara with fibers the only one I know is by a company called Younique. It's a 2 step system. First you put on the mascara/glue, then apply the fibers until you are satisfied and then repeat the layer of mascara/glue to seal the fibers on. If you skip this step the fibers will fall off. If you want fibers, check out Younique online. My niece sells it and it runs about $36 for the set.

Is this actually waterproof and good for swimming? I have a beach trip coming up! Thank you!

yes, I just spent the day at the beach, swimming in the ocean and then took a hot shower -still there. I wouldn't try scrubbing on it though. To remove it, I use baby oil and cotton balls to wipe it off. I love this brand!

Does this product work?

I've been using this product for a while now and I love it. It makes my lashes nice and long without clumping or flaking. It doesn't make them very thick just really long and pretty. That's the way I like mine. The waterproof is the one I use and I love that it stays on great until you take it off. I remove mine with some coconut oil and it comes off easily. I read that others had problems removing it but I never had. It's a great mascara!
