Elevate Your Game!
Capture your in game moments and streams in crystal clear 4k (or 1080p @60fps). This low profile and size considerate box features an HDMI in and out ports on the rear. On the front a USB out and audio input/output allows to to connect a microphone to narrate gaming adventures and voice over streaming sessions. This kit includes all the accessories making this truly a plug and play device. The included USB is both standard and type C for optimal compatibility.I love this capture card. I've got it hooked up up to my Xbox Series X so that I can easily stream over to OBS while I play my games. This is the easiest and most cost effective way to incorporate all the features for a high quality interactive live stream from a console setup. I'm crazy impressed on how efficient and easy the process was to get started.Bottom Line: Whether you're a Twitch pro or just starting out, this is the capture card you need! Consoles, PC, Mac, Switch, you're set with them all!

Works as it should but...
Ps5 to pc streaming video works and looks great. Zero latency between OBS and ps5. Setup took 1 minute but my only issue is headphone out port had a buzz no matter which cord or headphones I used. Would still recommend for what I actually purchased for which is for the video.

Easy to use
This capture card was weasy to use and install. I had no issues using this device on multiple HDMI devices. The image quality was amazing for the price. This product eliminated the latecy associated with other capture cards making game play easier while streaming.

For basic capturing of 1080p video, this thing works great.
For capturing video from a streaming or cable box, this thing works great. You might need to grab an HDMI splitter that strips off the copy protection. They sell here on Amazon for less than $30. I also grabbed video from a Roku and cable box, with the inclusion of a HDMI splitter that strips off the copy protection, and it worked just fine. I captured at 1080p, but soon will be capturing in 4k and will update this review when I do. There are options that cost a lot more, and maybe some need that for more professional results, but for loading stuff on Plex, NAS or other servers for consumption of movies and TV shows, this thing is just fine.

This is a high-quality product at a low cost and very much worth it price.
Finally, a decent product that allows the user to capture visual or written products from thumb drives or other locations, including CDs. It certainly simplifies the process, so it is great value for money.

Audio issue
I’m having an issue connecting my Xbox audio to OBS, and that’s the only thing setting this back from 5 stars. I hope it’s not user error…is there any way someone can walk me through this?

Bloats your hard drive
I captured/streamed through VLC player and used Simple Screen Recorder to record everything to an external hard drive. Somehow, this gadget bloated the hell out of that hard drive and my root drive, when I barely recorded anything. I had terabytes to spare. Now, I need to backup and reimage everything. I took it apart, and it looked so overengineered, lord knows what it is capable of. I found some antenna software (named antenna.assets.meta, which has the same file type as a Unity 3D file) which slipped onto my machine though, so it may not be as safe/secure as you might think. My PC is 100% offline, due to sensitive trade secrets, and I'm not very happy that I have to back everything up and reimage everything. The proc directory of the root file system had all kinds of screwy files in it. I don't know if the main IC on the device has an antenna in it or not, but it looks like a full-blown microcontroller which might contain an antenna. I may look into it and update this review.Update: the seller issued me a full refund. I still haven't looked into this IC to see if it has an antenna, but I suspect it does. My gut feeling is that they are a respectable company, and if you are not mixed up in corporate espionage and/or do not have stream snipers trying to steal your identity, this product is probably safe for you. I have updated my review accordingly.

Compact and Functional HDMI Capture Card
I've been on a mission to digitize my old video treasures, and the Avedio Links 4k HDMI Video Capture Card has proven to be a handy little gadget. The plug-and-play simplicity is a breath of fresh air — just connect it to my Windows setup, and it's instantly recognized, no fuss. 🎥💪The build quality feels solid despite its compact size; the aluminum body gives it a durable touch. Although the included cables are on the shorter side, they're sufficient for desktop setups. 🔌🤔I haven't tested it with 4k sources, as my retro gaming consoles and old tapes don't require that level of resolution, but it handles 1080p smoothly — perfect for my needs. The HDMI passthrough is a nice touch for direct monitoring. 🎮👀If you're into archiving memories from older devices or casual streaming without breaking the bank, this capture card does its job well. It's not without its small quirks, but overall, it's a nifty tool that bridges the gap between legacy tech and modern setup seamlessly.

No issues so far
In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Really reasonable price (about £22 after vouchers) for a pass-through capture card.+ Allows streaming to be captured on a second computer, negating the performance impact of capturing and encoding on the original device.Things I didn't like:- Build quality is fine but not stellar - perfectly acceptable for this price point though.Do I recommend it?Yes - dependent on the price point. At just over £20, it seems excellent value.

Great to capture gameplay
My young 'un was on at me to get one of these are they want to upload gameplay to the the internet. It's fairly intuitive and even I understood what to do ( obviously the child could use it straight off , haha!) The picture quality os 1080 which is getting a little old fashioned I suppose but it is good enough for us and our non-4k TV, we can't tell the difference. Works with both windows and Mac as well as how we've used it, on the Switch. Seems to be a solid bit of kit and it does the job, one of those things I had no idea existed until I was told that everyone has a capture card these days (!)Good value, so it's getting a full-on Five Stars!

Fine
NOTE: That despite this being advertised as "4K", it doesn't actually record at 4k, it just downsamples it to 1080p, but passes through the untouched 4K to your monitor / TV.
