The practical maximum depth of cut is the length of the teeth. Where the blade gets “reinforcement” it more than doubles thickness making a wall that prevents cutting anything thicker than 0.5mm.Did the best I could with pictures. The teeth are 1/3 the size of the rest of the blade. And on one side only. At their base you hit a flat spot. A wide one.I so wish this was a positive review of my experience. They looked GREAT. But very much an engineering failure.

I bought these for model making...mostly cutting "timbers" for military dioramas at 1/35. The do not work very well for that at all. They have difficulty in cutting a tooth pick to be honest. That is not the fault of the seller really...what do you expect from a stamped shape/outline in sheet metal. The teeth are not hardened and they are not sharp or do they cut well. It was easier to just use a hobby knife like normal. I thought that they may be good for cutting off resin parts...NOPE way too hard and x4 the effort. They will work well on foam though! So if you are into make foam buildings and walls for your hobby, they will work great for that...think cutting windows and doors. The will also fit right into your standard hobby knife as well. Over all a bit pricy for what they are, but worth it if you work a lot in foam.

Has a little ridge on it that prevents it from cutting more than a millimeter or 2 deep. Returned.

Very happy. Solid blades. Great for crafting and models.
